good afternoon everyone and welcome to this week's clarity soft training webinar today is tuesday february the 8th 2022 and our topic for today is to give you an introduction to building quotes and invoice templates in the claritysoft crm database some of you may have worked with some report type generation software similar to this and others may go in there and say oh my goodness i do not know what to do so hopefully today we'll get you past the oh my goodness i do not know what to do stage with working with templates you can the template builder is pretty sophisticated but it does take a bit of a learning curve to maybe get to what you want so we'll get you started today and then you can take off after that what we're going to do is first of all give you a quick overview of the template builder the screen layout the parts of the screen the functionality on the screen then we will begin to build our own sample template adding company logos other images putting in the different fields that you want to pull from the quote record into the template placing them on the screen then you have in the template an items table where your detail list of your line items goes and you may want to change the columns in that table so i'll show you how to to do that and then the formatting adding different colors background colors for your text and your other boxes and then the final step of sending the quote to the customer and then along the way i'll give you some little tips and tricks that i've discovered as i've worked with the template builder that will hopefully solve some issues that you've maybe bumped into yourself already all right so let's go ahead and get started and i need to get to my clarity soft so i'm in a quotation record here let me cancel out of it when you're building the quote templates you may start from two different places you can go to settings okay and you do need to be an admin user in the system so if you're not an admin user you won't be able to do this you'll have to talk to whomever is your admin user but you can go to settings and then customization and quotations and under there you will see quotation template and quotation template enhanced the quotation templates are our old html code templates which some of you depending on how long you've been using clarity soft could still be using these templates and you can continue to use them if you wish the new template builder is the quotation template enhanced and you can start here and you can build here the only problem is as you're moving between a designer screen where you're laying out all of your data fields and putting in your customization as far as...
