hey guys welcome back to Latoya I'm Nora as you know we have about like 45 40 something days left until 2020 like that's crazy is like beyond like this is the last decade so I mean if you can't go out with a bang let's just shoot for 2020 and I'm gonna give you a few tips on how to secure those private pay clients so earlier today I was going damn in this woman and which brought me to make this video because it was really concerning because she really didn't know how to secure private paid clients she was waiting on her Medicaid application or process to be approved and she's in another state but she has 10 caregivers and I'm like okay so you have two caregivers with no clients so have you tried X Y & Z and then you know she was giving your information and bla bla bla I was like you know what okay I gotta make this video so the first suggestion or tip or advice that I will give somebody is figure out who your clients help is what demographic that you're trying to service that you're trying to cater to and once you figure that out start producing add or classifieds that hey I'm such a such home care these are the services that I offer X Y & Z put an ad out in that paper the newspaper online any of that publication put it out like put it out in the areas that you think the people have money that they can afford your services that's one to try to partner what hospice agencies hospice can only do so much so they would love to partner which are home care they would love support your home care and that that's a client maybe it can generate probably more than one client some other suggestions is maybe putting yourself out there going to independent living facilities people at independent living facilities sometimes need help I'm not talking my assistant living facilities or memory care facilities you want to do independent facilities because as their health decline the facilities still want them to be independent I've gotten probably paid clients from Craigslist like believe it or not Craigslist home health and you know you have a filter through because it is a lot of job postings but I've secured some private paid clients through Craigslist so so you have posting ads in your local magazine or a newspaper in the demographics that you want to cater to partner with hospice agencies also going out to independent living facilities and pitching yourself you know when you put your agency make your agency make those services ala carte you just don't have to say like personal care $25.00 like you can do small things like baby fifty dollars or yeah I mean I don't know you have to figure out your own pricing but you can offer each services individualized I love court because as an independent living facility they may not need help with getting dressed but they may need help with you pushing them down to the dining room for dinner I also see you about call some of these um community centers to see if you can house a bingo like come on out like that's the most easiest thing host the bingo that gives you opportunity to engage with the clients or potential clients let them know about your agency and also get them engaging with with each other another way is which is kind of I mean people always say well connect with case managers but it's like well how do I connect with these case managers and that can be a little tricky so with case managers are say call some of the local hospitals call some of the local pain management companies pain management usually if someone's getting like a knee replacement or something like that they literally have to have home care setup before they're even discharged so I just literally named I don't know like four or five probably more of possible avenues for you to secure your private pay client so going into 2020 as we close out 2019 like if you use some of these tips I can assure you that you will get at least one private pay I can't assure you I can I promise you and if not like leave me a message if you do comment below tell me like what technique worked best or what did you do to secure that private pay client I hope this helped and I'll talk to you guys soon thanks [Music]
