hello everybody and welcome to runtime hrms in this video we will see how to add an employee to add a single employee record you need to go to the employees menu and click on add new employee on this page you just need to enter the basic details to create a record as you can see the first name and joining date are mandatory fields but you can enter other details if they are available with you after you have entered the required details simply click on save and continue and the employee record is now created on this page you can enter more details about this employee for example you can enter the addresses like permanent address present address you can enter their personal details like passport number driving license and bank account details similarly you can enter family details the marital status and the list of family members of this employee on the word profile page you need to select the location cost center department designation and work shift these fields are useful for various reports on the salary tab you need to enter the salary details for this employee these components that you see here are the ones that you have defined in the setup you can change these components as per your requirement if you are a subscriber of professional or enterprise version you can also upload employee documents using this tab this last tab of options lets you configure some settings related to this employee for example you can disable the esi deduction pdf deduction professional tax deduction and income tax reduction for this particular employee you can also allow this employee to be able to use the remote punch functionality on mobile app workman and you can also make this employee as a gatekeeper administrator so that they can punch other people's attendance using the workman application on the right side you see certain details like client id employee code and login pin these details are required to login on the workman application in case you want to reset the login pin simply click on reset pin and enter a new pin and update if you want to send these details to the employee on their mobile number using an sms simply click on send login details and an sms will be sent to the employee on the mobile number in their profile the mobile number used for this purpose is something that you specify in the basic details mobile phone field so that's how you add a single employee in runtime hrms thanks for watching
