With just a few clicks, this tool verifies benefits in two minutes or less–and better yet, it adds the patient's information directly to their chart. But don't just take my word for it. Let's check it out. To start using WebPT's benefits verification tool, you'll have to complete a one-time setup that maps specific payers to your organization. (Don't worry–setup's a snap!) First, log into the WebPT EMR. From the WebPT EMR dashboard navigate to display insurance and search for a payer. Let's pick United Healthcare. From the Edit Insurance screen, check that the insurance name matches the payer listed in the Electronic Verified Payer section. WebPT's Electronic Benefit Verification supports more than 925 insurances–including all major payers. And as you can see, there's a plethora of payers to choose from. Like Aetna, Medicare, and United Healthcare, just to name a few. Once you've made your selection, simply click "Save" to finish setting up the payer for Electronic Benefit Verification.
