Today I am going to show you a demo of restaurant manager by eat. The problem with existing restaurant reservation systems is they are either too expensive, or not user friendly. Some restaurants are still using pen and paper, and are unable to easily access valuable information about their customers. So we created Restaurant Manager by eat. A reservation and table management system for restaurants that is very easy to use, and that focuses on important features like sending SMS and email confirmations, storing a rich database of all customers, and accepting online reservations. Lets start off with the Floor view. Here I can see all my tables, which ones are occupied and which ones are free. I want to see what reservations I have upcoming for tonight, so I click on "upcoming". The first thing I want to know is how many people I am expecting tonight. All I need to do is slide down the list, and the system tells me I have 55 covers booked for tonight. Great. Every booking is displayed with the expected arrival time, the guests name, which table they were assigned to, and the size of the party. Looks like we gave John Smith our best table. I click on John, and I immediately see John's full details. Here I can see how many times John has been to the restaurant, and all the private notes I have added to John's profile. I can see that John likes his meat rare, served with the French Dijon mustard on the side. I can also see all his booking details, including any special requests. I see that Natalia, my hostess, has already spoken to John and she's arranged a birthday cake. Great. I can send an SMS or email confirmation directly from the system. All I need is an Internet connection, and the SMS message or email will send, free of charge. Within seconds, in a simple clean interface, I got a full overview of everything I needed to know about John's reservation, and was able to send John a confirmation message. I click back to see my list. Once John arrives at the restaurant, I can drag and drop John to his table to seat him. Voila, table management made easy. Lets talk about contacts. Eat allows me to store all my contacts in one place. The app has been built around search, so I can easily find any customer I want within seconds. Lets see how this works. I can search for a contact using a name or even a telephone number. In under 1 second, I was able to find John. I immediately see all of John's previous visit statistics, his contact information and notes, John's birthday, anniversary date, and any tags that I've assigned to John. I also get a full history of every single time John has been to the restaurant, where he sat and what he ordered.
