hello everyone my name is Tim Abbott technical marketing engineer with Cisco and in this video series I'm going to show you how to configure posture assessment in Cisco's identity services engine in previous videos in this series I've covered posture conditions remediations requirements posture policy in the last video I covered client provisioning and we're going to top it all off with access policy so let's begin to configure our access policy will absolutely need to log in to ice and we've done that here before we get into authorization policy we need to configure what's called authorization profiles first now in the interest of time I've went ahead and created a few of them but I do want to go over them with you so let's go ahead up here to policy and underneath here policy elements there are going to be results we'll click there and on the left hand side under authorization we have authorization profiles ok so there are three basic states for compliance there is unknown there's non compliant and then there's compliant so for unknown compliance status we're going to assume that the endpoint has not been provisioned for any connect so if that is the case we want them to be subjected to a specific authorization profile and the one that I created is called client provision so let's take a look at that so here's what it looks like we have the downloadable ACL name is called posture ACL and basically what that is is a couple of AC entries that allow for specific network services just so that we can get the endpoint configured with any connect the other thing we want to do is select the value for client provisioning so we've checked the comment ask for web redirection client provisioning posture the ACL here that we're referencing is not the downloadable ACL but the ACL that is on the network access device that's going to tell it which traffic from the endpoint needs to be redirected to ice and get ultimately sent to this particular portal ok and to take a look at it here at the bottom we can show you all of the different attributes that are going to be sent to the switch so it's an access access except the port ACL will be the posture ACL the ACL that the switch needs to use to redirect traffic will be this web off URL redirect and then here is the portal ID which the endpoint will receive for getting me any connect agent to be installed on the end point okay so we've got that the other ones that I wanted to show you were the other states which is non-compliant compliance so what happens if the end point comes back and is non-compliant well we don't want to give them full network access what we did was we created something called a quarantine authorization profile so similarly to the posture one we have a...
