[Music] in this video i'll explain how you can show your sonitel number to the people you are calling start by signing in at app.sonitel.com and move to the phone numbers page which is usually shown automatically when you sign in if it isn't click on the settings button and then select phone numbers which will show you the list of phone numbers in your account now in this account there are two phone numbers one u.s phone number and one uk phone number the uk phone number is still in trial mode it's not subscribed yet whereas the u.s phone number is subscribed and also has a business package added to it and there's another video showing how you can activate the business package the business package is required if you want to show the phone number to people you are calling now in addition to activating the business package there are some additional requirements to allow you to show the phone number move to the general settings and account verification page this is basically where you provided your billing address and id number when you purchased your phone number now if you want to do core recording or show your sonitel phone number when making calls you are required to provide proof of billing address and proof of id before that function can be enabled proof of billing address can be a copy of a recent utility bill and proof of id can be high resolution photo of your id which needs to be uploaded here and usually gets improved within 24 hours by the regulations team so once you have that done then your phone number and your account is ready to use your phone number for showing to people you call now the next step can be done both in the web app and in the mobile apps and this is done in your personal settings and can be done by any team member in your account that has access to your sonotel account now in the web app you click on the settings icon and go to my settings you land on the profile view when we move down to call settings and then over to caller id the upper section for incoming calls defines what number you should see when you receive a call but that's not the topic of this video we are more interested in outgoing calls basically what phone number are we showing to the people that we are calling now in this drop down list we have four options the first one is automatic which is default which means that we will show the best number we have available to the people you are calling your mobile number that you use when signing up for your sonitel account will be in this list and can be shown when making calls as long as it has been verified when you signed up you can also add additional phone numbers to your profile which you can verify by getting a pin or a callback call to that number which will then allow us to have that number shown when making calls in addition to that we can see that the u.s phone number is listed here so if we want to show the u.s phone number to people we are calling we can simply select it here and it'll be shown to people we call for all album calls with automatic it could be different phone numbers that are shown to different people we call depending on what phone number is closest to the person we're calling if we select none that means that we will be showing no phone number to the people we are calling but that will usually result in less people answering the call so automatic is what we recommend but if you want to show a specific phone number you can select it from the list here either the sony telephone number or one of the verified numbers that you've added to your profile so that's basically how you can define what number to show when making calls with your sonitel phone numbers [Music] you
