hey there today i will be showing you how to make printable and writable official receipts stay tuned [Music] welcome back to my channel i will be using microsoft word again for this tutorial after creating a new document go to layout tab and set margins to zero [Music] set header and footer to zero as well [Music] select the landscape orientation choose your preferred paper size for me it will be letter size select two columns and set spacing to zero go to the view tab and click grid this is to see the exact location and spacing of the text box that will be inserted insert the text box and place it as shown [Music] occupy the first half of the two column page by adjusting the size of the box go to the paragraph tab set spacing after to zero and line spacing to single now insert a table with six column and multiple rows [Music] merge the first six columns of the first row do this also for the second and third row your company name address and phone number will be typed here after the phone number leave a blank space on the next row type sold to and below it is the address in line with sold to on the fourth column type the date below the date is the receipt number and then sold by [Music] now type official receipt as the header adjust the font sizes to your preference as you can see i did not include the header in the table this is to modify better the sizes of the rows and columns of the table next delete the horizontal and vertical lines of the company name address and phone number do the same with sold to address date receipt number and sold by just leave a long line next to each name [Music] without the lines it looks cool right after the official receipt header insert a new table this is where you will put the quantity item or description price unit and amount are total make the details centered the shading of the columns is optional insert multiple rows by hitting the tab button on your keyboard or by right-clicking your mouse and then insert new rows type the subtotal tax shipping and total as shown modify the size of rows and columns as to your preference afterwards delete unnecessary lines [Music] merge the rows of the quantity item price unit and amount headers [Music] after modifying the official receipt copy and paste to the second column also don't forget to merge the three columns of the item header let us see the print preview and print this in one page you can make two receipts the original that will be given to the buyer and the other will be retained for your company's copy just make sure to duplicate the receipt numbers before printing the official receipts for the duplicate you can use a colored paper to distinguish...
