hello and welcome to the Halifax Parks and Recreation registration customer guide showing you screenshots for how you can enroll in a summer camp using the online payment plan option before we get into this guide however please note that if you are actually looking for a summer camp with inclusion support please go see our separate video entitled how to request a summer camp with inclusion support this guide assumes that you already have an online Recreation account set up with the city of Halifax if not you'll want to go to Halifax dot CA slash by rec select the create account slash login button click on create new account and then follow the prompts to register a login email address and password assuming you have an online Recreation account you'll want to begin the summer camps enrollment process by going to Halifax dot CH slash my rec select the create account slash login button enter your account email address and password then click login to find the camp you want click on the program's button in the top right under the make a booking section when the program search screen appears use the fields such as program barcode program name main category and subcategory to enter the parameters you need and then click search to begin the enrollment process use the search results to find the camp you need then click payment plan to the right several details about the camp will display please review these and when you're ready click register at this screen you can select who you want to enroll in the summer camp just use the drop down arrow to display your family group members and make a selection when you're ready click Next now you can select how you're going to pay for the summer camp to use a payment plan pick the second option that says pay the full cost over the course of a plan when you select this option the summary details for the payment plan will display showing the total cost for the camp including tax the deposit that you will pay upon registration and the future installment payments when you're ready click Next if you don't already have a valid credit card registered in our system the following screen will appear please enter your payment card details and click Submit also please know that at this time American Express is not accepted as a payment option at this screen no option to request inclusion support will be available simply click Add to Cart if you are looking for a summer camp with inclusion support please see the instructions in our separate video entitled how to request a summer camp with inclusion support now you will begin the checkout process please review the cart summary information and when you're ready click continue here the payment plan details are displayed including the amount you will need to pay upon registration as part of the 25 percent down payment when you're...
