hi this is Matt Matt's in this video I will give you a free course evaluation survey and a sample report for your online courses let's get started course evaluations are really important because it gives students the opportunity to give their opinions on how the course was and what the future of the course will be and future students guys will benefit will definitely benefit from their feedback and teachers also can easily see what changes they need to do and help to improve their course and their teaching process I will course evaluations for all my courses after each semester and I found it really really useful and recently one of my friends asked me about it and I decided to share with everyone so here's a link guys and it says course evaluation survey template you can access this online survey by clicking the link in the description below and let's click the link it will allow you to copy the file in your Google Drive so you need a free Google account let's copy it okay this is a survey this is an evaluation survey for your online course and it is for one course this survey is anonymous guys you don't collect their names or they'll email addresses that's why they can freely answer the questions there are different sections for the survey this is the first section in the first section we only have a title explanation and a question about overall satisfaction level for the course we can start by editing the title it is the only part you need to edit you can keep all those parts all other parts the same and all other things are ready to use let's write our course code here you can write your course code here or you can write your class classroom name there let's take other sections second section is about content quality we have two questions here and the third section is about teacher quality three questions are here and the next one is about course difficulty level and three more questions here and the final section is overall evaluation and there are four questions here okay I think this is enough if the survey is really really long most people don't want to participate in it right so you don't need to make them read along with too many questions as a data management teacher I know that people hate answering long surveys since we want their honest opinions about the course I believe five six minutes of survey should be the longest one in terms of course evaluation so you don't need to add additional questions here but if you want feel free to do it this is your own document and you can also change its design and choose colors or pictures from the theme option and after all your editing is done you can share it with your students don't copy and send the link manually guys this is wrong even we don't want them to edit the survey we want them to answer the survey so click this send button then you can either email them or click this link option in the middle and copy the link and send it to them when you shorten the link it looks better and it doesn't provide too much space in the post or in your email so I definitely recommend you to shorten the link so let's see how the survey looks like from respondents perspective first of all each participant need a Google account it's not for us to collect email addresses guys it is to prevent them to participate many times so let's see it now the survey has five sections and not all the questions come to the screen all together each group comes one by one in order is the first section let's answer randomly so all questions guys are required you see if you don't choose one it says you have to answer it they need to answer all the questions and a short answer questions in the last sections that are optional because I know some people hate writing sentences so I made them optional you can definitely change it you can make them required after they complete the survey you can immediately see number of responses the survey collected so you see it says one at the top now you can click this response option and then analyze their responses and when you receive all the results we can choose that option and close the survey it doesn't accept responses anymore you can also analyze their responses with Google spreadsheet it is like Microsoft Excel by clicking this green white cross icon and it will create a document in your Google Drive and you can analyze it after you after the analysis process is done you can write a report if you want I also shared with you one of my end a semester course evaluation reports and you can access the file in the description below it says um course evaluation report template let's open it so this is the report you can check it use it and create a similar report for your courses and that's it everyone so feel free to use those files and enhance your online teaching I will continue to record more videos about education technology keep watching my videos goodbye you
