implement this and get this set up in your business to start collecting payments so this is the page that you'll get access to and it is entirely hosted for you and the security maintenance and the entire upkeep of the page is taken care of for you and hosted by card connect so you don't need to worry about hosting fees or any security updates or anything like that the page stands alone and it's securely protected by card connect and everything that card point is is set up so card connects the company that offers it cardpoint is the software platform that the hosted payment page is connected to so it's one in the same with this payment system you just need the one card connect merchant account and you'll get access to this page so as i said it's very simple very easy to get set up with that account and um and you'll you'll have access to this page immediately so the uses for this page are entirely suited for and customized for companies that are in general taking payments online it's not specific to us a certain type of company it could be for medical or service based or product based businesses all the same if you're taking payments online or you're invoicing you can use this page for those uh specific applications and i'll show you once again how how to set those up and and add those in just a minute uh in this video when you get the page you'll get access to an editor a uh editor online that allows you to log in and make changes to the text and the different fields on the page itself so you can modify the text itself you can drag in a a component from the ready-to-use payment page that they can put on their website or or send out in emails and speaking of that let's look at ways to use this so again once the accounts set up you have you can start using this page immediately and the main ways to to use it are number one every single page that's activated will get a hosted link it's a permanent link it's fixed it's always the same and it's unique to your business so that page has a open ended pay what you want or open dollar amount meaning the customer that sees the page will fill out the dollar amount in question either associated with an hosted link in the scenario that i just gave you you can text it to people email that open link you can post it on social media whatever you'd like um if as long as you have instructions that go along with it on the dollar amount and you know why the customer would be paying you on that page if you log into the editor and you go to the connect tab you'll see options that'll that'll allow you to build your own payment links and this is what gives you access to the other three ways to utilize this this page the first of the three that i'll go over with you is to embed the hosted payment page in your website so if you're using wordpress or another website editor that allows you to get to the text editor you can take code from the card point hosted payment page editor right here on this page on the connect tab and you can add that to your website and the hosted payment page will then show up on your website on a specific url that is on your company website that you designate so if there's a specific pay now or dot com slash pay page that you want to specify on your url for branding purposes or or or something like that you can do that by utilizing the embed option and again with that embed option the actual page shows up on your website the next way is by utilizing still on the connect tab you can set up a specific dollar amount that has a a button attached to it card point gives you an option to build a button by a by assigning a certain dollar amount so let's just say a fifty dollar product you would type in fifty dollars into the amount box and then click build your link and the embed code that is returned to you were given to you you copy and put into your website again and this time instead of showing the page it shows a button for you and it'll be a nice big button that when the customer clicks on it it routes them to that hosted card point hosted payment page for them to make the payment and it's already pre-filled with the dollar amount for the product or service that you're selling and with both of those options you can see that you you have a pay link and then an iframe embed you can set those either to go on a website or you can paste code into for example gmail or other email clients you can paste it right in there and it will give you a nice easy link that you can put into an email for the purposes of sending out an invoice so you can type additional instructions pop that code into an email browser and then send out the email that way the last way to use this page is a little bit of an overlap with what i just covered but there's an option right on the connect tab to send a payment link to a specific customer so if you want you can log into this dashboard if you were sending out a bunch of invoices you could come into this tab click the the send payment request and you could just type in the name and email of the person that you want to send an invoice to with the dollar amount and just send it right from this editor so you wouldn't even need to go into your own email browser if you didn't want to you could send it right from this editor and it'll come out pre-populated with a nice button there for the customer to click and pay and then again you get that notification when the payment is made that goes for any way that you use this page you will get a you can set it to get a notification uh when a payment is made on the page so those are the practical uses of this hosted payment page by card point and if you're a us-based company and you don't have a system like this but you want a page and you want a way to invoice and some of the functionality or all of the functionality that i just showed you in this payment system check the description box right below this video and click the links to
