[Music] [Music] hello everybody and welcome to jjb tech this is my initial setup video for the galaxy watch three um i just got this for my birthday and just wanted to jump on and give you guys a quick setup video this is the lte version so there may be some things i may not be able to show you but basically this is the lte version okay so let's get started guys so what i'm going to do is power on the watch for a first time hit the power button there and it comes on so once it gets powered on i'm going to start the setup process here so just bear with me one second as you can see i'm in the galaxy wearable app where i had to go into the option to add a device and as you can see you have devices like the galaxy watch three galaxy buds live just the different devices that you can use with the the uh use with the device so what i'm gonna do is click let's get started and what it does it brings you to the screen and it says galaxy watch three share the get started in the galaxy wearable app on your phone accessibility okay so now what i'm gonna do is go ahead and get started here sorry about that get back in here i'm going to tap the galaxy watch 3. okay as you can see it's saying getting ready to pair try this again i hadn't had to set up a device in a while so just bear with me guys okay i got the notification to connect on my phone here now i'm gonna hit connect and tap my watch also hit connect there and it says check your phone to complete setup and as you can see the galaxy wearable app is saying setting up your phone yeah so let's see how long this takes normally doesn't take too long depending on you know the size of the initial setup here as you can see on the bottom it says the plug-in is 78 megabit megabytes so let's just see how long it takes here just moving through the process pretty good here we have 51 percent 55 yes let's see um moving pretty swiftly here i know a lot of people tend to skip through but i want you to see the process you know from start to finish here so there we go let's see here it's at a hundred percent now all right okay now saying finishing pairing process as you can see on the screen um and with those little dots they're changing colors to orange looks like an orange color and it's stepping through five four dots now it's moving to the fifth dot so anybody that's pretty much used to samsung watches and other devices using the galaxy whereby this is a typical process i think another reason why i wanted to show you guys this process is because um i don't see too many videos out there with the lte version as of yet so i'm thinking this would be a good thing to show you guys with the lte version so that's why i'm doing this uh setup from start to finish here okay it's at the start the finishing pairing process here yeah i know this uh well i didn't expect it to take this long but i guess this is like the finalizing part and with this being a new device this this part can take a little bit longer than normal but you know like i said it's been a while since i've added a new device to um you know excuse me a new watch um like i said i'm current i was currently on the gear s3 frontier watch so definitely been a long time since i had a watch okay guys what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna pause the video and when i get to the next step then i'll start back recording okay okay guys that took quite a long time maybe another minute after i paused the video but we're at this screen now it says congrats on your new galaxy watch so what i'm going to do is i'm going to agree here and you have you want to link your plugin i normally accept everything so i'll select all here and i really don't want to check for well i can check for a backup i have my galaxy watch 3 not sure if it's going to mess anything up with my galaxy watch 3. so i may just skip this for now and i'm just going to hit okay now it's going into set up a mobile plan at this point always stay connected by setting up a mobile plan to start setting up a mobile network with your watch device information of your mobile device and watch will be transmitted to the mobile networks operator please read your mobile network's operators privacy policy carefully regarding how your data is processed so i'm gonna hit next okay that takes me into my welcome screen for my sprint plan it says that your cellular plan for your watch has already been activated please continue to complete the setup of your watch phone okay guys there was another screen that says summary screen that basically just showed you the plan for your sprint service for the watch and now it takes you to set up your mobile plan and i'm gonna click use plan so you know to me the the fee was not that much it was a really good deal so um i currently have uh my gear s watch uh i know you guys remember a gear s watch i also have a gears watch where i use the plan and that plan wasn't as good as this plan but i'm basically getting these the same plan not the same plan but the cost of the plan is going to be the same as my gear s watch with sprint so that was me you know very small amount of money to have a mobile plan so just wanted to be able to use the watch to it you know use the watch to its full capabilities so i'm going to click here to use plan oh it's still finishing on the setup now it says set up a mobile plan welcome to sprint now you can call and text on your watch hit next and it says on your watch welcome to sprint network install features only available for sprint subscribers i'm going to hit install and i may get an update because i believe there's been an update on this watch that um came through so i may get uh another update here as well so basically i'm installing and it's gonna it's disconnected from the actual phone now and going through that install process here so i'm not sure how long this is gonna take looks like it's saying set up okay and it looks like it rebooted there so let's see here i just realized that just kind of bright here so let me see if i can adjust some of the brightness on the screen here for you turn that down a little bit maybe you'll be able to see the phone screen a little bit better i apologize for that okay it's still waiting to connect here all right it looks like the watch rebooted um and of course it takes you to the training process i guess you could say right here i'm going to take a look around turn the bezel clockwise for widgets let's see here and pick the watch up here hit the back button here bezel clockwise okay now turn it the other way to go back to the watch to the watch face okay did that now turn it again for notifications and hit the back button that takes you to the well that screen that popped up was the samsung pay screen and you hit the press press the home key to find apps there you go almost done now you're gonna swipe down a touch screen with palm to turn off okay yep that worked that's it you're all good don't miss anything with dots turn bezel to see your notifications okay swipe up to clear notifications okay so that's pretty much is guys so screen went dark again here yeah except for that one little part i know that seemed like a very long process there so but overall the setup was seamless here with uh the sprint lte version okay like i said there was a notification that was going to pop up here so let's go ahead and hit that new version of your watcher software and it's ready to download so let's hit that okay and there it goes guys it's already updating um blood oxygen advanced running analysis vo2 max and sleep score those are the main things that's listed in this update definitely definitely wondering about the ecg and also the blood pressure thing so and one of those are two reasons i definitely got this watch here so we'll see how it goes guys if i get that update soon i'll um also uh let you know with another video when those updates come through so let's see how long this takes see if i can zoom in a little here okay zoom back out for you guys all right so it's in i'm going to click install now the watch will restart so yeah guys i i really wanted you to see this process from start to finish um this process right here might take a little bit longer we'll see here just wanna see how fast it's moving to decide whether i want to stop the video i re i really wanted to show this video from start to finish like i said because of the fact that this is the lte version so when i did a lot of searching i didn't find any videos with um setting up the lte version that was that was definitely a concern of mine by knowing that i was potentially going to get this from for my birthday gift so i was really concerned about how the lt version yes you know i had the gear s and i know how that process worked just wanted to see if there was any real difference and you know that so far it looks pretty looks to be the pretty much the same process i think the process now is a whole lot smoother with sprint as far as setting up the plan and everything like that i had a little issue when i initially set up my gear s watch so i will say this is definitely a whole lot easier smoother process but of course just so just just so you guys know i am using a galaxy note 10 plus so um i thought about upgrading the phone as well but to me i didn't see the up upgrade as being something that i wanted to do um standard on my note 10 plus i have 256 gigs so you know the initial or the uh ultra version had 128 gigs here in the united states as well as 512. so i was like well to me is doing myself a disservice i'm not a camera guy so even the improvements with the camera not would not have you know made sense for me so that's why i planned on sticking with the uh the galaxy note 10 plus here um this looks it's going through is the update has installed guys so it's going through installing it onto the watch here through that tizen operating system so i'm going to pause the video for a minute until this part is finished here okay everybody that part is finished now the watch is setting back up here just want to make sure i get everything connected back like i said this is the um setup video for the samsung galaxy watch 3 the lte version and definitely wanted everybody to see this process from start to finish um as you can see it did take a little while so um but i still wanted everybody to see this process from start to finish because i really didn't get a chance to um or i was searching online but couldn't find anybody that really had an lte setup um
