in this video I'm gonna demonstrate for you exclaim or signature manager exchange Edition and exclaim er template editor template editor is for letting marketing design email signatures without help from IT it lets them edit the live templates that are going out on emails day to day right now so they can change a template and publish it to your signature software on your exchange server in a click they can even add dynamic content that's going to be automatically changed in the future or as soon as something is updated like social media content or a timed campaign banner now template editor lets you edit and publish your changes live that's the fast method that's what I'm going to show you in this video but you can also copy a template change it locally and then upload it under a different name so that if you wanted to revert your changes you could that's the safe method now we're also gonna see in this demonstration the changes applied live so let's get started first I'm gonna start by sending a test email to my personal hotmail account sit send let's just go down to my hotmail account here okay so I've got my signature here I'm pretty happy with that looks good but I want to add in some additional content I want a marketing banner this was social media content let's go to the template editor after I double click the setup XE I can click set up as you can see here and then I'll just go through the install wizard click Next accept the terms in the license agreement click Next again and install I'll click finish I'll click Next and what I want to do is hook up template editor to my installs of exchange addition in Outlook edition so click exchange Edition and first I'll just go in and I'll find the folder that my templates are saved in for signature manager exchange edition now your administrator should have shared those folders already scroll down okay template library one is the one I want for exchange Edition and then I'll just do the same for the outlook Edition scroll down template library okay and I'll click finish so for example this is the one that I just saw in that email I'll right-click and click edit so I can see the template in here and let's expand that and let's just add in first of all a marketing banner click image I'll just select the location of that image let's go with that image okay alright good now I want to add in a table to hold my social media content so on the left here I'm gonna add in a social media strip great so when here what I can do is decide which social media networks aren't displayed so for example let's remove Facebook and let's add in Google+ and I can rearrange them so let's put Twitter down here at the bottom in the same way that we have contact details visible in the signature I can customize the links using a contact detail field so for example just add in this particular field other web page in here I have a string that's going to personalize this LinkedIn button for each user now let's add in an RSS feed so I can pull down my latest content say from a particular social network like Twitter or maybe Facebook so that's going here and I can go to dynamic content I could do it using content from file or an RSS feed let's do RSS but this all in one line okay and I'll just modify that URL let's go in here preview okay looks good but we want to fix up that font so let's select it and let's just make it Arial and we'll leave the color as it is much better okay now on top of that too you can see in here I've got this working-days field so what that's doing is that's going to be displayed only if there's content to go in there I've got hide if blank selected so if I click preview you can see it's not there for me but for my colleague Walt here it is displayed great okay so I'm pretty happy with that I'll click Save and close and I'll right-click and click publish okay so now here in signature manager exchange edition and in here you can see it's updated to signature accordingly cool so let's send another test email just to my personal hotmail account send go into hotmail now in here we have the new signature great I've got my new banner I've got my new LinkedIn link perfect thanks for watching
