[Music] Hey so I just wanted to do a quick video somebody on the comment of this gun which is the 780 l tactical asked how do you adjust the x mark part trigger on it so I'm going to show you what I did this is by no means a opinion of a trained Gooden Smith or anything like that so do as you wish but you know exercise extreme caution you know make sure that you test it and drop you know kind of bang the gun on the ground with the safety on obviously with no ammo in it just to make sure you're not going to accidentally drop to sear because you lighten it too much so as you remember this gun is now in a Magpul stock so I will go ahead and just take it out real quick you can see I have a chip empty chamber flag and bolt was open so I will go ahead and pop my mag out of here take the bolt out real quick and then we need a 5/32 hex bit first take these two screws out Magpul dusts and torque inspects for those so obviously you do want to it should be kind of difficult to remove torque them correctly okay so they spin freely now so we should be able to go ahead and pull the stock here off the action and I just drop the bolts on the ground so I'll pick this up off-camera alright so here you can see the X mark pro in the receiver so there are a couple of things to keep in mind here or to know when remington sends this out they put like a clear nail polish over the trigger spring screws so that way they can tell if you've modified it because since they had to go in and redo that big recall you know several years ago they want to know when people have been in their rifles so just know that you're likely voiding your your x marks Pro trigger warranty if you were to send this in be due to it having a fire issue they'll be able to tell right away if you were in it so just keep that in mind so you'll see let me get a punch you'll see back here right here there's a small screw there's another one on the front I guess I can flip this over and just show you there's another one right here you're off camera there's another one on the front right here okay and so in order to actually get those I'll get that material out of it I actually had to use a couple different things to try to I guess soften it right it was hard like nail polish I tried ballast all that didn't work I tried just isopropyl alcohol that didn't work so what I actually ended up using sweet 762 solvent I realize that's probably backwards on the on the camera for you guys or maybe it's just backwards because I have my phone flipped around so that has ammonia in it it is some pretty wicked stuff it's typically used for cleaning guns after you fired course or they mo don't get it on a lot of stuff or if you do quickly go over it with something like ballast all or Hoppy's or something like that to neutralize it because it will it'll screw your stuff up quick so that that come combined with a just a kind of a small pic file if you can get in these cheap kits at like five or six I used one of those and kind of picked it out and then I used a supersize is that probably like t6 or 1/16 8 inch hex tab it so let me while I'm talking check to see which one fits yeah so that's the one that you want you want to get a 1/16 inch hex bit or Allan ranch or something like that but it's that's basically what you're looking for so get that in there and turn it mine on the front you will see is slightly protruded when I got mine this screw was run all the way down into the housing and the trip was pretty heavy it was crisp but it was heavy so I now have it about one turn over flush with the outside of the housing here I did not mess with the back screw at all because I believe when I looked it up this is your sear engagement which I didn't want to mess with it all I had no I had no over-travel nothing about the actual movement or engagement of the trigger was bad I just wanted to lighten the spring pressure a little bit and so this right here is what I did so you would back it out so counter clockwise until you kind of get somewhere around this area and that was enough for me it's still heavy enough to where I don't feel like it's a hair-trigger but it's safe so I know that I can you mean god forbid this gun were to fall off the bench or something like that while it was loaded I know that if this you know as long as the safety was on it wouldn't go off more realistically even if the safety was off it likely wouldn't hit hard enough to drop that sear so this is in response to that comment about how did I adjust it I'm told some of these models are a little different some have more than one screw I have mine had one on the front one on the back and so I just the way I did mine if yours is different than that then I would recommend you know looking at various X mark schematics on the internet and figuring out which which version works best for you all right thanks
