you [Music] hey guys it's new mistake and I'm back with you today just want to say before we start thank you so much for your amazing response to my giveaway hopefully it'll be successful and there's already some shoutouts there's already loads of modes of entrance so really promising and I love the comments great comments so let's move on and this time we're going back in time to 1913 in Germany so we're going back to German Empire were going back to all Germany were going back to the days when the Germans used marks instead of euros were going back way way before the Nazi era and were going back to good old Kaiser Wilhelm I don't know very much about this era but I've been reading a few bits and pieces about it I find it quite interesting in terms of what was going on in in Berlin and some of the the art movements that were around about time and it's a fascinating era you know full of full of hope and prosperity in the days before the First World War so it's great to see some of these amazing coins and all of these coins in this delivery except for one our 1913 so there's a half mark two marks three marks and five marks and also some of the gold 20 mark coins but cast your mind back this is the era of Metropolis this is the era of high style Fritz Lang the famous film director and Bauhaus the Bauhaus movement and some of the most amazing things in terms of the arts were created during this period in Germany and I don't know whether any of you know very much about the art movement around about this time because it was the time that the German expressionist movement started people like gross otto dix kurt schwitters and quite a few others and i actually actually really like german expressionist arts i think it's its great great fun art the coins aren't bad to going back to the coins some interesting coins and these these coins are all going to NCS for conservation they may not you think may be may not be worth conserving they may not be particularly high-value coins but the the owner of the coins comes from that part of the world in terms of his family and really wanted to have some of these historical coins preserved and and they're in the slabs so they can't be damaged going forward but a quick question for you guys on collecting German coins is our German coins widely collected in in the USA and Canada or are they generally only collected in Germany what what is your view of Central European coinage and its collectability over in North America I say North America because that's where a lot of the YouTube viewers are located so what do you guys think of German coinage older coinage that question aside let's...
