This video will show you how to use CSUSB e-signature through Adobe Sign If you are identified as an approver or a signer you will receive an email like the one on the screen that indicates review and approve In this example, we are using a Financial Aid Student Time Sheet Not all of the topics that we will discuss might apply to your particular request However, we hope that it provides you a general understanding of how to use CSUSB e-signature Once you receive an email select the button "Review and Approve" Next, you will be requested to sign in to Adobe Sign aka e-signature at CSUSB then select "Continue" You must always select "Company or School" account If you do not see "Company or School" account at this point in your process Please stop and contact the Technology Support Center for assistance Select "Company and School" account option and you will be brought to the document that requires your signature Please note! If there is an individual that is carbon copied in this document They will not receive the copy of the completed document until after all signatures have been completed There is automatically a download option, but you do not want to download this document if you are being requested to approve and sign it So here I can see that this is a Monthly Student Time Sheet And within this time sheet, there are some additional information In our example, we are using a blank time sheet However, let's assume that this time sheet had scheduled dates, time in, time out, and totals and your role as a supervisor administrator may be reviewing these totals In the event that you do not agree or find a discrepancy on this time sheet In the "Options" drop-down on the top left of the screen You can do one of the following You can select "I will not approve" and this returns back to the submitter Or in most cases, you will not approve if you disagree with the information on the document being submitted In this example, the documents that are required for the Financial Aid Student Work-Study Time Sheet is a completed time sheet along with the class schedule Returning back to the beginning, when we have reviewed the document Next, we will select "Start" or you can scroll to the bottom of this document and then select "Start" to ensure that nothing is overlooked Once I select "Start" the "Click to Approve" button is initiated If I approve, then I will click to approve If I do not approve, I will go to "Options" and "I will not approve" In this case, I'm going to "Click to Approve" If you select "I will not approve" just follow the prompts on the page The document will be returned to the submitter Once the submitter has made corrections they will resubmit and you should receive a new email with the corrections Now my document is ready to move to the next approver or location You receive a confirmation that you have finished approving the document Selecting "Manage" takes you back to the Adobe Sign aka CSUSB e-signature home page And you can view your documents and the progress of those documents in this home page I can see the ones I have in progress These could be submissions that I have sent to others Waiting for me are those that require my signature "Completed", "Cancelled" and "Expired" If you have any additional questions regarding this process If it's specific to a particular form, in this example, the financial aid time sheet Please contact your department representative If you are having technical issues please contact the campus Technology Support Center at (909) 537-7677 or email support@csusb.edu Thank you!
