hey everyone how is everyone doing tonight sorry i'm running a couple minutes late um so i did do some research on a couple of states however uh hopefully i didn't do any research on california and the reason for that is uh because i ran out of time and california is going to take up oh i want to do my due diligence and not just like rush to do california because there's so much going on with that so i do apologize if you currently live in california i do not have an update for you i will i promise i will have one for you tomorrow night so the states i will be giving an update for in about five minutes or so so i'll name the states that i'm doing updates for i'll go back to the chat and then i'll actually go through the update so in about five minutes i'll go through the states um so i will do an update on indiana washington state utah south carolina north dakota and texas oh and i uh pennsylvania have an update as well i just have to find it on my phone um so sorry totally lost my train of thought here um i forgot i was gonna say sorry guys i uh okay val how are you okay update for new jersey from val now today new jersey gave me a text message almost saying the same thing in the email yesterday if anyone wants it they can text me okay so if you are in new jersey val is kind enough to put her phone number on the chat so if you're in new jersey you want to update feel free active to exhausted benefits again lizzy yeah i just i feel like and you're in nevada right i feel like your claim is really it's oh i'm frustrated for you with your claim good because there's it's like there's no hit or miss um so correct me if i'm wrong i think you're in nevada right um let me if you are and let me know if you are i will do some research on that tonight keith pennsylvania uh well extended benefits get backdated for the last three weeks and this week for 300 so we should get 1200 dollars wednesday so yeah let's see how many weeks are we in um we get the 27th so one two three so yeah when you go to file next week i would hope that you would see four payments of three hundred dollars for extended benefit you know plus your extended benefits pay um yeah and yeah i'll get into pennsylvania in like five minutes um i you know it's uh so frustrating all this stuff i only got two weeks of regular eb wednesday that pass and not three yeah i might be able to shed some light on that uh wonderful creations hi thanks for being here keith oh one last question pennsylvania got 300 every other week well that's twice a month not every week and the week we get 300 do we still get eb okay so the way it works in pennsylvania is if i'm understanding your your statement is we get paid okay so yeah i'm trying to think yeah for extended benefits in the state of pennsylvania you can file every single week so if you choose to do that you would receive your regular weeks pay of extended benefits and then the following week you would then receive one week's worth of the extra 300 however if you're if you're filing bi-weekly then obviously you'll receive six hundred dollars the following week after you get paid your extended benefits so hopefully i made hopefully that made sense king mott i was able to download my 1099. then it said benefit payment control audit then i got an email today saying i have to verify through id me and id me saying now verified yeah um what did i okay hold on let me look at my phone because that whole benefit audit thing um is weird right shoot i took notes on that i think what that means is sorry i'm just looking at my phone because i i take screenshots of stuff so i did google that because a couple people were asking about it on last night's chat and when you google like what does that mean it just means well i don't want to say just means but it's almost as low as though your claim is under investigation so this could happen if you had a previous pua or well most of the time it would probably be pua claim and in 2020 but then you go ahead and create a brand new claim in 2021 for poa and what it's doing is it's saying that you have two claims for the same person and econo raises a red flag to pua because they're like oh maybe this person or maybe the second application is a fraud as we know poa has gotten bombarded with fraudulent claims so they're almost being a little bit too like cautious i guess um so unfortunately i think that's what i read that could be one possibility of what that benefit control thing means you know would be helpful that every time your claim goes through a different status wanna send an email letting the person know what that means right so yeah that would be uh my especially when you're talking about the id me thing because it sounds like okay well as long as you did your id me that's good the best thing to do which is probably impossible is to call unemployment and to have them forget about that second claim if that is your situation that happened to you uh oh and the 1099 gs uh for those of you that were on the regular unemployment p euc extended benefits and maybe you also were on pua i haven't checked for for me personally um but i will by tomorrow but you might get two 1099 g's one for the regular unemployment side and one for the poa side so if you were on kind of both sides of the unemployment programs you might have to download a 1099g from each one but like i said i will verify that uh either tonight or tomorrow hey jeff thanks for always being here uh jimmy i lost your question north dakota am i going over north dakota yeah states that i updated in yesterday's live stream and if you go to like the five minute mark that's when i start talking about the states so here are the states that i covered in yesterday's live stream iowa colorado pennsylvania michigan hawaii kansas kentucky wisconsin north carolina and missouri so here are the updates for today again we have indiana washington state utah south carolina north carolina north dakota and texas okay so in alphabetical order uh indiana uh so if you live in indiana peuc will be available on january 22nd and pua will be available on january 22nd so hopefully that eases your mind a little bit uh you know what if you are in kentucky i'm gonna put this in the chat for you i know it's a state that i didn't um mention that i was gonna put in there but anyway if you live in kentucky there is a resource for you in the chat and next state we have is north dakota um oh i could not find anything um the unemployment systems had a maintenance last night i don't know if anyone if you live in north dakota if you had a chance to log into your back office or your dashboard to see if you noticed any changes i could not find a like any sort of date of when pec or poa would be rolled out um i do have poa there will be a delay in certifying and processing payments peuc if you've weeks left on your peuc you can certify and get paid however if you have exhausted your benefits there will be a delay in certifying and getting paid so that was north dakota pennsylvania okay as we know there were situations where people got paid for this prior week however they didn't get paid for the first two um the first two weeks of january right so at first what i when i was poking around on facebook seeing what people were saying uh someone had said that you'll eventually get paid it's in processing right however from what people are saying today is if you're in that situation you got paid for one week however the first two weeks of january you did not get paid you have to get in touch with someone from unemployment for them to release the funds um someone specifically said they will push it through if you do get a hold of someone so i'm sure what they'll do is maybe you know saturday is the big maintenance window in pennsylvania i'm sure i would hope that they'll push everyone through that had issues before um i guess maybe if you want to try to get it pushed through sooner you can try to get in touch with someone and again the whole with them taking the initiative fixing it on saturday that's just my hope i'm not saying that that's definitely going to happen um but i would hope that they would do some sort of mass fix instead of people having to reach them one by one because that would just just doesn't make sense uh south carolina the update i have is poa from what i've read is currently paying however peuc is still being implemented and that was south carolina texas gosh you know no eta on it on anything all it said was that texas will automatically enroll everyone that is eligible into their respective programs and continue to risk request payments and work search activities so unfortunately i don't have an eta in texas uh utah okay utah has successfully implemented two out of the three extended federal unemployment programs so they have extended or they have fixed pua and fpuc however peuc will take additional time to implement but of course they're doing it as fast as possible so oh washington state uh they will start processing the extra 300 fpuc payments on january 14th which obviously passed no information i couldn't find anything else regarding etas on puc and pu yeah poa and again those were the updates that i found based on the states that i said i was going to do research on except for california which i will definitely do um tonight or tomorrow morning uh yeah diane so oh yeah and i forgot to mention that uh in the state of pennsylvania i was i had read that pe or pua could possibly start filing on sunday uh me being wishful thinking since our claims should be reverted back to peuc i'm gonna try to certify on sunday and see what happens desell what's going on with iowa it says on the poa tracker 115 and regular oh okay and nothing uh what do i have yeah i talked about iowa yesterday what do we have here uh yeah i yeah there i i did do research on iowa yesterday or late the night before and i couldn't find any information uh so unfortunately i i don't know uh all it says is they're releasing eligible payments as quick quickly as possible which doesn't help you at all so i apologize simpson please help i was told in chicago that i can't get any more benefits because i used them all and they said i can't get anything even with the new law um you can appeal so uh definitely go to illinois department of labor website and try to appeal but if you were on either pua or puc or possibly both last year then i don't that's very strange that you're not able to uh get anything that's really strange so yeah definitely look on the appeal process diane um you have one week left oh my gosh should i just skip a bunch no wait hold on so on the 24th we should have extra money from uc that's what diane says because you've one week left yeah i'm hoping diane because you do have one week left hopefully you won't see a lapse in payment but it's a guessing game at this point right unbelievable well fredo ohio i have five weeks submitted stono payment and that was in ohio i think i did oh yeah definitely um check out the link that i sent in the chat for ohio's exhausted their benefits of poa or pec they are looking to pay out january 24th uh when does ohio pay the three hundred dollars louie says so if you want to know actually you know what go to this website there's actually okay let me one thing at a time and i'm talking to myself in the chat i'm putting a resource of when your state will specifically pay out the extra 300 boost now for everyone in ohio if you scroll below the chart there's actually a couple updates for ohio um so it looks like for peuc the extra 300 would be paying out january 31st and for ohio it looks like february 26. god that's far um south carolina i think i just did south carolina didn't i yeah so yeah if uh if you didn't hear me cover south carolina uh scroll back a little bit in the uh in the stream kane yours is yours is under audit too yeah definitely um for those of you that are still waiting to get paid whatever you do do not file a brand new pua claim because it seems to be causing issues someone in one of the unemployment facebook group uh facebook groups for the state of pennsylvania said that it could delay your claim like four to four to 12 weeks or something so unless you specifically um unless the state specifically tells you to do not file a second claim which one state did that i went over yesterday but i can't remember what that state was uh kentucky if you're looking for an update definitely actually if you're in kentucky sorry and i'll stop going over the um the states but i think i thought kentucky yeah so if you're in kentucky you definitely want to check out this uh what i'm putting in the chat right now for an update okay here we go uh kane said yeah open a new claim now it's under audit i hope they fix it and don't think i'm scamming yeah in the event that you did open up a second claim if you can try to um get in touch with unemployment support and hopefully they can kind of wipe out the second claim so yeah diane uh tried to file poa on sunday misty is saying i got a message this morning saying that they added the 11 weeks of pandemic unemployment and what it should appear on my edd card okay i'm assuming you are california and if so that's awesome because i know that crazy stuff was going on in california and i do okay yeah i will do an update on arkansas uh for tomorrow night yeah i doing all 50 updates every single day would like the research would just be a lot i did that one day and it took hours so um what i'm going to be doing is from requests from you guys um i'll do research on like five or so states a day because that's that's more manageable so angelo angela's from new jersey i got 600 this past tuesday shouldn't i have gotten 900 yes um yeah you definitely should have unless i know every state is different right um yeah i i would give it like a week or so and see if hopefully you'll get paid next week to you know to make up for the week that was missed um unless you have the time to get in touch with unemployment yeah how you can justify i mean your part of your job is answering questions right so if you're getting a call in why would you accidentally hang up on people unless people are working from home and unless they're their phone and they're getting confused and accidentally hanging up on people who the heck knows silver shark missouri is updating tonight okay cool hopefully you'll be able to log in and get some uh information john california yeah i will try to uh i'm a little intimidated with california because there's so much going on there but yeah i will definitely try to find some info on that and if you are in california obviously um shelley's millions is a youtube channel as well as jenny silver they do california specific videos on unemployment dr barnyard has pennsylvania started releasing poa payments uh no hopefully sunday we'll be able to file for pua jacqueline cannot file for regular ui it keeps saying inactive what should i do so did you exhaust your regular ui um if you did then that actually sounds correct uh your claim would say inactive and until and it it might take sorry let me let me backtrack if you're still if you still have weeks left on regular unemployment and you're seeing that your claim is inactive the best thing you have to get in touch with someone to get that fixed however if you've exhausted your regular unemployment and your next program would be peuc however since pennsylvania is still in the process of implementing peuc that could be why your claim is saying inactive because you they haven't set you up on a new program so uh denise yeah okay denise yeah i put the link in the chat so drawer says anyone in missouri maintenance 10 o'clock p.m tonight and hopefully you will get some good news michigan what's going on with michigan uh oh you guys want to get paid i i want to get paid too right but yeah please do not reapply because it will only cause a delay for up to three months is what i'm hearing um because even if you reapply you're still not going to be able to claim any weeks because the program isn't implemented so please do not reapply unless your state specifically tells you to which pennsylvania does not tell you to reapply robert i'm in california i applied on 12 26 when i go online it says my application was processed on 12 28. i still have not received anything in the mail or customer account number yeah unfortunately um all they're probably just backed up although it has been almost a month right yeah unless you can try to get in touch with the california unemployment office as much as i hate to say this you'll just have to wait until you get all that information um definitely log in if you can and try to certify for the weeks again if you're able to other than that if you can't get in touch with someone you just have to wait until you get everything in the mail which i know is pain it's painful for me to even tell you that so if you so matt uh you log in and it says you have no inactive claims or no active claims and you had weeks remaining from 2020. matt are you on pua because if you are i wouldn't worry too much about it hopefully things will get fixed by sunday however if you are on peuc i thought people on puc that had weeks left over in the state of pennsylvania were able to claim so if you had weeks and you're on um peuc you'll definitely want to reach out to unemployment however if you're on pua i would wait until sunday and hopefully everything will be fixed um yeah so touchdown colorado uh washington state i think i did an update yeah i didn't have anything for washington state unfortunately meaning i couldn't find it any dates or any timelines ashton um tennessee uh december 24th i received my last payment on my old claim the following week i was going to certify and it say my claim expired hold on i gotta see if i can find the rest of your i click you clicked you hit click here and it gave me file new claim and i haven't heard of work since and i've called and emailed everyone um i'm curious what program you were on and and it told you to click there right and are you in california oh no you said you're in tennessee yeah i'm curious to know what program you are on um yeah i need to do i haven't done research on tennessee in a while so uh i'll report back tomorrow and let you know to see if they're still implementing the extension in the you did set up a or you created a brand new pua application uh you definitely want to try to reach out to unemployment and have that have them wipe that out or you know delete it whatever they can do to get it off the system so your claim doesn't have to waste time going through the fraud or investigative process jacqueline do you have to be collecting regular unemployment in order to get puc no so the way it works oh in order to get pc yes yes you do so once you have exhausted your regular unemployment then the next program you would be eligible for is peuc so to answer your question yes dr make sense right um nicole pennsylvania can't get a hold of anyone fouled a second time because after filing last week's december went to file claim now it says disqualified yeah um i i think eventually it would fix it itself however keep in mind that they have to the reason why they flagged it as benefit payment control is because they are going to be investigating your claim this could take weeks for them to do um i'm confident that it would eventually fix it fix itself however i saw someone today that it could take anywhere from four to 12 weeks the best thing to do is try to get in touch with someone to get them to get it wiped out um i know easier said than done and maybe maybe you could try to call them which i'm sure you've been doing as well as send an email let's see yeah great question poa is asking for 90 days proof of income how do you provide proof of income if you have none i was a baker my home in philly i didn't did not exhaust payments so uh a business license um a some kind of contract um 1099 that you receive for from uh that you receive because you're self-employed um any sort of documentation that shows that you got paid um now if you got paid cash i can't remember i was watching someone two days ago talking about this i can't even remember what they said if you got paid cash but um if you have a your 1099 tax documents you can upload that and if you if you don't have any uh there is a form that you can fill out in every state or at least there should be where you can kind of justify why you're receiving poa in the first place jeff she's reading a lot of comments i'm trying trying to go through these uh yeah every state will get back pay so um oh yeah let all right you know what there comes a time where i just have to start beginning of the live stream masterpiece does puc benefits automatically extend if your benefit year ends before march uh great question okay i'm glad you brought this up and then sorry i just wanna okay um i'm glad you brought this up so when you first create a regular unemployment claim this this has nothing to do with puas if you're on poa you don't need to worry about this once you create a regular unemployment claim that claim is good for a year that claim will have an expiration date a year from when you actually applied for it so what you want to do is take a look at the expiration date on your unemployment claim and when the x when that date comes what you want to do even if you have weeks left over from peuc or eb if you have eb in that state once that expiration date comes the next day you want to file for unemployment all over again because that's what the procedures are but then the unemployment office will then direct you on which program makes sense for you you know should you stay on the new unemployment claim which is kind of cool right because at least you know you're guaranteed unemployment for however many weeks your state provides or you might get reverted back to the program that you were just on so in march you'll want to file for a brand new regular unemployment claim all over again joe important update pennsylvania i spoke to a rep okay so anyone that did not get their first two weeks needs to call and they will manually process them while on the phone with you also 300 boost for next week all right cool i'm going to write that down and thank
