hi and in today's Microsoft Word tutorial I'm going to show you how to create all these different elements to create and customize your own fillable form so let's get started so I'm just going to show you how to create this first element here both the lines and the text and you can see that if your user is to go in and type then they're typing lands in exactly the right place so the first thing I'm going to do is to go up to insert and down to the table icon here and click on the drop down and I'm going to select three columns by two rows and then we just have a simple table now in order to create the gap that appears between these two here we need that third row so if I go back to my table so what we're going to do is we're going to hover the cursor over the line here until it turns into a double ended arrow we're going to click and just simply drag towards the middle and then we do exactly the same this side we're going to click and drag towards the middle so the next thing we do is just enter the text so just click inside the cell and type your text now the great thing about these tables is that you can manipulate the text in terms of its position any way you want so if you highlight the table either by clicking on this arrow here or simply clicking and dragging then if you go up to table layout then there's all these different elements that you can use here but in particular these elements here which refer to the position of the text in your cells so on this particular occasion I want them at the top and to the left if I wanted them at the what the right hand side I could just use these different boxes and allocate them to the position of my choice so once I'm happy with the text position I just go up to table design and then I go along to this icon here that says borders click on the borders and click no border now as you can see I've no longer got any borders around my table but I need that line to run across the middle for these two cells now if I just simply click on my table go to borders and if I was to simply click inside horizontal border you'll see that an entire line comes up when we no longer have a gap in the middle so what we need to do is just highlight the cell that we want the line above go back up to borders click on the drop-down and select top border do the same with surname let's go up to borders click on the drop-down and select top border and then you have your first element as I said...
