hey there youtube it's math bowler welcome to my ttm monday video this is my weekly recap from the previous week's ttm successes this is for the week of january 17 2021 i received 23 autographs from seven people including some beautiful vern law cards with amazing inscriptions two inscriptions that i've never received before all addresses were obtained from scn or scf i greatly prefer scn so i'm going to go in the order with which i received the seven returns and i'll let you know how long it took i'll let you know if i send to these people more than you know how often i send to these people i'll tell you if i send a donation all that good stuff and i'm going to talk a little bit about this first one for a bit here because uh i'm a pirates fan that's my baseball team it's my favorite team favorite sport and i send a vern law three times a year in fact uh i'd sent to him not too long ago so it's been less than three months but he does you know his uh donation eight dollars a card and he has recently started adding some fresh new inscriptions and the money goes to a great cause his son is battling leukemia so i'm not a fan of people sending to people back to back to back as much as possible but when it's with a donation that's different so in a few months i'm going to try to find a few more cards and send a 25 donation and look at the value i got for 25 dollars so we got this old reprint uh three of three took seven days i've never seen him write the two-time all-star of 1960 i've never seen that two-time all-star with the star and everything that is a pretty new thing that card looks beautiful i've also never seen him write lou gehrig award before on any of the cards i've been actively ttming for over six years and for the year 2021 i'm sending out on average you know i'm going to send one a day i want to send 365 requests so i'm sending out seven every week i've sent to vern law oh gosh maybe 10 times at least i don't know but dang these inscriptions are beautiful i sent him this and obviously he had his son vance sign it as well bonus 25 dollars i've ever sent especially so when you see this index card he usually signs the index card but he's adding even more stuff i mean normally let me cover that up normally cover that up that's normally what he would do vern law pittsburgh pirates 1959-67 saw young world series champs versus new york yankee 1960. well he also had lou gehrig award which i've never seen before i've never seen him right come back player of the year 1965. i've never seen that before two-time all-star with a star i've never seen that before oh my goodness that is so great and for a great cause i didn't mention why he was asking donations and my last time i had my video my one buddy ed told me i should do that and you're right i should he's raising money his son is bowing leukemia all right next up i have never sent to bob veal before two of two plus an index card and a nice little signed note 10 days i hope people don't hammer him but uh first time ever signed to bob veal was a little hesitant to send to him as no one's really been getting you know success from him recently it seemed and then i sam this one i'm glad came out nice also signed the index card really cool stephen may god bless you in your future endeavors bobvio send anyone pirates world here's champs and he signed the index card it's a pleasure steve bob veal very very nice all right next up three of three gene klein's in 10 days i send him about twice a year and as soon as i saw that these 20 20 tops heritage cards had an insert set with him and steve blass and bob robertson in it while bob robertson doesn't teach him he did for a brief window but i'm sure he got overwhelmed and stopped i had to buy this and the two steve blast cards for ttm purposes and do it right away before they potentially get hit by a lot of people who are now ttming and this looks so cool oh nice plus a couple of these like tops rediscover tops or whatever these stamp things are they take the vintage card the original card you know do that i got this card in this card at a card show that who knows when that video is gonna get uploaded okay this one has an interesting story one of four plus the index card and a score card like a business card scorecard 67 days first time ever sent to al geiberger and i'm so lucky i even got this back i'll tell you why in a minute the reason why i'm saying it's one out of four is because three of the cards did not show up and i'm pretty sure i know why not that he kept him nope include his mr59 which is really cool i mean of the four cards i said i'm glad i got this one back because this one has that gold embossed stamp on it special card there's the index card with the 59 mr 59 inscription it's actually really stinking cool it's like a business card and it opens up there's the scorecard and he signed that too with the mr 59 inscription i am so lucky that i even got the one card the index card in this back this was not sealed you can still see the flap right there when it went through like the sword or the machine or whatever whatever they doing to do this it must have gone through like this because it got stamped on the wrong side you know like that and we arrived in my mailbox it was open i was lucky to get what i got and truthfully i think i'd rather have this than the cards it's okay sometimes things work out all right next up carl erskine i send him about once a year five dollars per five dollar cash donation sign the card and the index card this actually looks really nice it's a numbered artist proof card from diamond kings this is card numbered 71 which is you know his jersey number backwards kind of cool ah not really all that relevant anyway also signed the index card very nice he signed an amazing stat ball for me last year it appears that if you send him that with a nice donation he signs it in sharpie no matter what now so that might you know for some people be a big deterrent um right i was talking about those 20 20 heritage cards oh my gosh i couldn't believe this set was made look at that steve blass realistically i'd love to get manny sanghian and bob robertson on there as well but hey that's really really stinking cool i send a steve blast twice a year roughly this took 13 days signed both of those now i also included one of these little sports flicks type cards but this doesn't really it just has a funky texture too it's not really sports flicks just a funky texture to it from 1972 it didn't really turn all that good but it was worth a shot thank you mr blass really really enjoyed listening and watching him all right and to finish off we have another steve we have steve lamont agni in any case this was two of two first time ever sending to him first let me ever send to golfers you know any golf return you see it was the first time i ever sent to him took 18 days steve blast was 13 days and steve lamont technique was 18 days signed both cards and well dagnabbit this usually doesn't happen but i signed the back and that's okay it's cool and he signed the index card also signed the letter i wrote to him that's pretty pretty generous you know sign the uh you know sign the letter that i wrote to him so yeah there we go 23 autographs from seven people i really like the vern law cards so thank you for checking out my ttm
