welcome back everyone to barnstormer baseball cards today we've received our first psa dna submission i've submitted hundreds of cards to psa before but never gone through their authentication service uh for an autograph but today is that day this actually came back really really quickly should have been about 20 days to process it came back in seven and any of you that are in the hobby that know uh psa has been backed up and hiring a lot of folks and trying to do a lot of things to keep up with demand so i'm super excited this came back so darn fast uh inside here we are going to have some mickey mantle autographed material um he was the yankee from 1951 to 1968. he's a switch hitter with 536 career home runs 20-time all-star seven-time world series champion three-time al-mvp and the winner of the triple crown in 1956. and of course he became a hall of famer in 1974 when he was inducted by the baseball writers association of america and i couldn't be more excited about what this box is going to have and i wanted to open it up on camera i haven't looked at it and share it with you all so here we go we've got the box open we're going to find out together what's inside here i wasn't even sure how they would ship it or wrap it or what it would look like but here we go lots of bubble wrap there on the top oh i see some psa dna cubes looks like there's four of them all right we're gonna set these down four of those and then we've got a bunch of popcorn and different things and our paperwork's down at the bottom so we'll pull out the invoice and stuff we'll set this big box off to the side get that out of the way and now in front of you you're going to see we didn't submit one mickey mantle autograph when we do it here at barnes storm baseball cards we go big we did four so without any further ado let's take a look inside of each one of these boxes we should find the balls we sent off there's one looks like mickey's a little off center off kilter we'll straighten them up here so you all can get a good look there's one mick we'll turn it to the front so it's with the psa dna logo we went with psa i prefer them over beckett it's just a personal preference thing it's nothing against beckett i've never submitted to them but i see psa is the standard in the hobby and in the industry so want to go with them get their authentication so far i don't see a psa dna sticker of any kind the balls are starting to yellow a little bit which is absolutely fine they've got some age to them and uh if you guys have been around this long enough you know that that will happen over time wherever the ball has been touched and the oil on the hands has gotten on there so that can be expected but we're not going to complain we're talking about the mick and his autograph all right number three i'm gonna pull that out i'm sure it'll need to rotate it as well it does there we go turn that around to the front another beautiful mickey mantle autograph that's three and we are going for number four guys i can't tell you how excited i am like this is awesome i've never had a mickey mantle autograph before and now there's a whole slew of them um got a friend of mine mike that's involved in this deal and uh one of these is gonna be mine the other three are going back to him but i'm super excited to have gotten the opportunity to work with these and send them off and get them authenticated and stuff so there are all four of our autographs looking great will slide those over all the psa dna logos and cubes and stuff looking up front now let's jump to the paperwork and see if these came back as authentic um there's our packing slip there's our order form copies of it and here we go i've got a let me make sure i don't have any personal information on here i don't believe that i do and then i'll share this with you guys on camera well it looks good um let's see one two three four all four all right there it is there's our letter of authenticity friday october 2nd 2020. i've got our certification number for one of the four balls is there everything filled out representing that this ball is authentic was samba mickey mantle signed by their president and ceo mr joe orlando and has their nice logos and seals and everything down at the bottom fantastic so that came in an 8 by 10 slide now it was a hundred dollars a piece to get uh mr mantle's autograph authenticated per autograph but because it was over fifty dollars per autograph they give you the full sheet full size letters of authenticity so and each one is going to have a different picture of the different ball that it goes with and then there's also a way to uh match these up with the different baseballs and some markings that you can't see with the naked eye to identify which one is which so these are absolutely fantastic and there we go four or four wow now i was almost certain going in that these are going to be authentic but in the interest of having the letter and knowing for sure what you have it's a good way to protect yourself myself and mike and we decided to send these off and we're glad that we did so now we've got the letter of authenticity that goes with each one
