hey everybody Jairus piece here another video and today we're doing something different so most of you probably don't know but I used to be a very big TTM hound also known as through the mail autograph seeker and I recently started doing it again I sent my first batch out on March 20th today is April 3rd I don't know anyways uh and I'll put on the screen how long it took for me to get get my return but I thought I'd share it with you I went checked mail today and I had a total of nine things I sent out I think 40 40 autograph requests mostly baseball some celebrity a couple other sports or whatever genre so anyways here's the first one so we came back from Fort Myers Florida and occasionally I open these already just so I could prepare for the video but I put them back in there and occasionally this is the stuff that you have to deal with okay sure oh I don't know why I just bells in there I put that one there backs in I got my cards back three cards here nice cards I thought they'd be great for an autograph that one that would have to be nice if you put it right there and this one would be pretty nice too if he could yeah I'll put this on maybe that one wouldn't be too nice whatever anyways sent the card those cards out and I'm probably not gonna send back to Bert by 11 because gave me my letter back which is very nice of him but he also sent me a price list sometimes I do that these guys are retired it may have low incomes whatever but here's Bert Blyleven gave me this list here if anybody's interested in mailing to him there's the address and a check payable to Bert Blyleven blah blah blah and there's this prices 20 bucks per signature to sign a baseball card if you want him to send you one it's $25 so you could send him 25 bucks and he'll send you a signed baseball card $10 for inscriptions here's where it gets a little bit pricey eight-by-tens you given it by 10 a charges $30 plus $10 for inscriptions $40 if you if he send you in a haze and so you're paying them 10 bucks just for the picture baseball's are $50 if he sends you 175 bucks plus $10 description Hall of Fame balls or more 75 and a hundred Wow bats 55 and Jersey 55 old baseball memorabilia programs hankies hats etc including plaque cards your Hall of Fame plaque card $40 to get a Hall of Fame postcard signed so anyways Burt was a fail Bert Blyleven was pay that's all who would we get next I already can't remember who it was in LA this was from West Palm Beach Florida alright and oh cool Jeff Reardon and he left me no $5 thank you and I checked it out thinking maybe he'd sign one and I sent him some nice cards I had nice spots for an autograph like that one would be cool and that one would be cool a lot of white right there and that one won't be cool and he didn't sign any so he wants $5 an autograph okay Jeff and I get it he is probably just a poor guy from a poor family just kidding what's next this one is from Denver Denver Colorado and this one is goose Gossage and goose is always so nice what the heck come on goose oh he did sign goose you're still a great signer so goose is a guy who I got through the mail that one he even added a hall-of-fame 2008 I've met goose a bunch of times and he was always a great sign for the mail and then one day he decided to start charging five dollars an autograph so he used to sign everything you'd send them for free and just for all of you just to let you know I still have all the cards I got signed I don't sell any of these I love them all and then all of a sudden started charging five dollars an autograph so one time I sent him like a hundred bucks and had him sign like 20 cards for me so that was cool and I just thought I'd try them just send a few out and see if he'd signed and he did sign them for free and I did not get a price list so that's cool this one's from Philadelphia Pennsylvania and I have no idea what this one is oh this one is Chubby Checker the singer and you wrote 20 20 on there so that's cool that's pretty cool Chubby Checker doesn't either one who did the twist have a chicken and stir the twist anyway so case Chubby Checker the old awesome singer and this one's from Greensboro North Carolina Piedmont Triad area already okay what do we got here so no cards here just index cards because apparently I didn't have any cards readily available I've got plenty cards to these guys but and this one there is nobody nobody the King Richard Petty one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR history with one of the most beautiful autographs in the history of autographs so that's pretty cool guys got to Richard Petty's very nice okay what is next do me a favor when you get done watching this and let me know what what's your favorite uh return is like like what's the coolest return I got that you think okay next Harrisburg Pennsylvania okay and this one is a Cardinals Hall of Famer and he did not disappoint he didn't sign the index card I always send two index cards cuz I still love autographed index cards but it was Tommy her yeah multi time all-star they signed five cards for me really really nice nice I like that that's his rookie I sent him they signed in a perfect spot so I always love collecting autograph Ricky's that's another nice one and another nice one with nice fresh Sharpie so thank you mister her Thank You mr. goose Thank You mr. petty Thank You mr. checker mm-hmm say thank you to the other guys but you know I could have at least sign one card for me I feel like you know I mean $20 for Bert Blyleven it just sounds kind of high all right this one I had a stamp on here but I took it off because it was not the tendon post-market it's actually sitting right up here on my board I'm gonna reuse it this one is can anybody guess and there's two of them this is country music legend Hank Williams jr. are you ready for some football he signed two for me so that's pretty cool Hank Williams jr. super cool huh he was a good sign into the mail so I sent to him obviously had though cards of him actually you know I probably oops I've got a lots of that old country music cards from like 1991 so I'm gonna try to get some of those out this is a pretty good one right here as you can see the cover was address just in case I don't know if anybody wants these addresses you can let me know but be very respectful these guys this one is Bill Virdon oh this guy's great this guy's got a lot of accolades so he was a National League Rookie of the Year in 55 okay that's pretty great 1960 World Series champ with the Pittsburgh Pirates and he was an American League and a National League Manager of the year got a little scribble there and stuff but he's pretty old so I'm just grateful to have gotten a couple autographs from him so a manager of the Year American League 74 with the Yankees and then he just put a national league manager of the Year 1980 here so that's pretty cool put this away right quick and then I got one more here and this one's a great one I love it so excited all right I sent this one I wrote a pretty long letter on this and right here tell them what a fan I was and I and I am I'm a fan of a couple of his movies one of the movies he was in was one of my favorites another one is one of my favorites and he's in one of my favorite TV shows growing up since from Los Angeles California and it is the Fonz Henry Winkler and he even dated it down here 3:20 so imagine that it could be three bouts three 2020 because I I sent this one out I think on the 21st or 22nd so that's cool huh so stay healthy it's out there on the pandemic that's pretty freaking awesome I love it it's so excited about that one so that's it guys if you liked the video give it a thumbs up if you didn't like it give it a thumbs down if anybody's interested in you these autograph addresses just shoot me an email that's where I'll that's where I'll post them if you need them I want to give a shout-out to J and W cards who also does a lot of these videos he does a lot of T TMS so go check out his channel he's got a fun one too alright I'll do more of these as the cards come in and I'll just keep sending stuff out to get signed because it's fun it's like Christmas every time you go to mailbox alright guys have a good day don't forget to wash your hands later
