hey happy thursday everybody sean from high level coming at you with a new feature so um very excited today this is going to be awesome so for any of you who have experienced sending mass blasts out so this could be mass text mass emails or honestly doing a lot of mass things in the in the platform and um we it's been actually a little bit difficult to date so for those of you who don't know today if i want to send a mass blast i have to go to the contacts list select people add a tag go to bulk request add people with that tag to the bulk request well today that ends that's done so very excited to announce um huge changes to the bulk actions big thanks goes out to pervin who has spent literally the last three months not only engineering those changes on the front end but re-engineering um with also help from the from the back end team um how this works from a queueing perspective in the platform so this is a massive rework on the back end that you won't see but you will appreciate it when you see these awesome changes to the front end so i come in here and what i can do now is um first let me show you right here um at the top the big changes are these new icons so you now have the ability from this page to uh affect a pipeline change uh add to campaign send an sms or send an email and first let's just go through the the simple uh the version of this so if i want to take these 16 000 people and i want to change what pipeline they're in or let's say toss them all in a campaign it's super easy to do that um i can also say you know i just want to send all my all my customers a quick one off you know happy holidays right um you can go ahead and now uh now do that you can obviously uh use um templates as well so forth and so on you can do the same thing with email so right then and there that's amazing i think that is a huge change it makes it so simple to send out a blast but that's not all um one of the other things we we've gotten and we worked into this release is wait but wait a second what if i have a list and i want to create this i want to send out this message to these uh folks but i wanted i want to i want to cue it all up at once but i want to actually process it out um in some kind of incremental drip well you can do that right here so you click process and drip mode and you can do all kinds of cool stuff so you can say look i don't want to actually start until tomorrow at 9 00 a.m or actually let's say let's say 8 a.m um tomorrow at 8 a.m i only want to send them out in batches of a hundred and you know what actually i want to uh i want to repeat after oh i don't know let's say every 10 minutes so um and i only want to do it on monday tuesday wednesday thursday and friday so what's really cool about this is first of all we're going to start sending out to 16 000 people as of tomorrow we're going to send it out in batches of 100 every 10 minutes i've got to do the math on here there are 24 hours in a day there are 60 minutes in said day um and therefore and then that and if i divide that by 10 that's 144 uh segments of 100 so 144 times 100 is 14 000. so that means we won't get through all 16 000. so what's going to happen well it's not going to go to saturday it's actually that wait until the next monday to start again um and so what i think is awesome about that is this gives really granular control over how these batches are sent out so really hats off to the dev team here this is really uh i think a a great uh improvement to the system and makes it so much easier to do those one-off text blasts one-off email blasts and one-off actions going forward you'll see more actions added to the menu and you'll also see the ability to do things for example like process all at once but start at a certain date and time so anyways hopefully this is as exciting to you as it is to me and i hope all of you are having a great week and look forward to more releases soon thanks so much
