Stack watermark record
so my son recently turned four months old and to commemorate that we decided to do a quick little photo shoot with him recently and this concept in mine gave me the idea of kind of showing off batch processing in affinity photo so the initial concept of batch processing is to obviously do many things at once and make it a quick and easy thing to do on the fly so the interface by default asks for sources so here's where you add all of your initial files so here I just got a four from the set that we shot of many photos of course and then a logo that I'd like to just have as a watermark in the background you can't see it until you preview it but that's it there this is my wife and eyes marketing agency that we co-founded together or not well before my son was born actually so aside from all that history you can do a lot on the fly from the Finity photo that's similar to Lightroom perhaps or something like that from Adobe like Adobe Elements Photoshop Elements but it's definitely not as sophisticated and streamlined so it's just something you can do to kind of just batch process photos but the concept of mine I want to deal with is editing the photo while I'm doing the batch job so this this is going to essentially save things out in a different format for me resize them to whatever dimension I provide here you can do a width and height and then the a here represents the aspect ratio which of course we'd probably want to maintain and then within each setting you can actually configure some more things based on what you want to export as here they only allow JPEG PNG TIFF and then open X EXR as well as saving it as an infinity photo file because oftentimes when you import a source it's probably a raw file that you shot from maybe a DSLR camera so in this case we're using a Canon EOS Rebel which is in RAW format initially but on top of that what makes this a little complicated is I want to edit the photo as well as add the watermark as well as export it in a batch so to do that you actually need to kind of make use of macros in affinity photo so here are some defaults that do basic things like flipping and horizontally vertically and you can apply as many as you want in this list you just select it from this list and hit apply and then if you want to remove it you can remove it so before we even do any processing I actually need to do some edits to a photo to record a macro that will do this for the extra photos that we add through the batch job so to make sense of that let's start by...
