I'm excited to give young talented like creative types opportunities and watch them grow I mean that's so like satisfying and gratifying for me I really I really love it the morning scramble right stick your head in there go to breakfast okay are you ready go get your seat on got it all one more day two more presentations that's it but these are my keys these aren't even my keys [ __ ] dad all right now we're ready to go [Music] hey you guys we're shooting in a day-in-the-life last day before go on vacation to be honest we weren't gonna shoot today because it's been so crazy as you guys have been noticing and seeing which I so appreciate and then last night before I went to bed I was exhausted we decided not to shoot today even though we wanted to include this in our content but I just thought there's no way I can do this and as I was sitting in bed I was running through all of your comments and responding to a lot of your comments on the last video that just went out and a couple of the older videos and I have to say I feel like I actually got out of bed and got sama out of bed here because of you guys like you guys actually have no idea how much you are actually inspiring me to do this and to keep going like that that is my motivation and that is my inspiration so even though you might be sitting there on the other side of the screen watching me and it you feel like I'm your inspiration I this is mutual that you really are my inspiration so I just wanted to tell you guys that and just thank you so much for coming along and being part of this journey and for engaging and commenting it like it honestly it means the me so thank you so much because now playing to know that what I'm gonna be gone for two weeks now everyone's like oh well can we have a meeting that last week of November so that is already happening so as things come up if you can just fill the calendar is needed that would be great yeah and I feel free to move stuff around too if okay I'd have to you it looks really full right now if you look at your first week back [Music] I'm excited for today's presentation because this is okay so you guys will remember ice we were filming a few weeks back maybe a couple months now and you guys saw that I had a confidential meeting with a potential new client it was a really big office project right before I went and did the high school talk well we landed that project which is amazing but this is one of our biggest projects in terms of size it's a fourteen thousand square foot office so one of our biggest commercial projects and today we're going in to do an initial presentation what's so exciting about this presentation is that a we pulled it together really really fast B we had everybody on board so the entire design team was involved Robbie's been involved sama here has been putting together graphics and has polished the presentation so it really feels like it was a true team effort which is awesome and see I'm giving Karina and Christy an opportunity to do some of the presenting today which I'm really excited about you know even though Christy is really junior she's only been with me for about six months I think you know I I'm a believer in if you've got strong talented people in awarding people opportunities to grow and to shine and you know I've heard some other designers say like oh well they're just you know they can't do that yet or they're not gonna be doing concept yet or yeah we're not gonna put them in front of a client yet or you know cuz they're just you there and I don't know I just don't buy into that mentality I just think that it's just because you've never done it before it doesn't mean that you can't figure it out a and experience for me is equal to talent but you need both in different times in different cases I wouldn't send Christy and Carina into this client one of our biggest clients to do the presentation on their own but I would absolutely include them in the presentation of course how else are they gonna get that experience so I don't know I'm excited for this today's presentation is really intended to prompt more discussion to show you guys some high level conceptual ideas for the office really really excited about this so we've taken some of these words and [Music] taken some interiors ideas as inspiration now we're not saying that this is what we're going to do exactly but here are some ideas that we want to just to put forward in front of you you you could have meetings in there yeah like it so this one yeah with the bookshelf so it's good to see a lot of people nodding and really liking some of these ideas overall we felt like as a package the ideas are really contemporary so it feels really fresh and modern and I when I think about you know designing a new space it's always about around where you're heading and not necessarily where you are today so Tina and Christy are gonna help me present the space plan corner we have the opportunity to actually open it up to have one large boardroom or you can have it in closed to have two separate offices yeah and what we what we were thinking with this is when you come off the elevator we wanted to take advantage of this view as much as possible so we really that's we kept reception fairly open but this wall could be drywall but we're thinking there would be a lot of glass looking out in the southwest corner so that when you come out onto the floor that's the amazing view that anybody would see so this little corner actually which is just ordered line this would almost be like a whiteboard space so Spaceland be what you'll notice about this plan too is we just wanted to show you what it would be like if people were sitting around the perimeter so in this case maybe you've you've got private offices here but we've really tried to put everybody as much as possible around the perimeter so that everybody gets a view and yeah I like Kristi keep going so you can see how this plays out is a difference it's a really nice working zone where we have workstations and then we have like collaboration tables in the middle where no boobs could just break out to any other feedback that we're missing or any other likes flexible boardroom space you liked that the perimeter boardwalk you like that for things I mean this is space Plan B these types of open meeting spaces with scribble boards or whiteboards you like that yeah exactly okay thank you so much okay good would you guys think yeah overall I think yeah we should totally be proud of ourselves like I feel like everybody looked really professional sounded really professional and at the end of the day like we did a really good job like it was a good presentation even having Robby do project management and helping with that stuff it's just nice it feels like everyone is kind of settling into their role a little bit and everyone has sort of like a task or a job to do and you're not overlapping with jobs to because with these presentations like I would say to Corina it would have been the design team assembling all the presentations and that takes so much time away from just doing design work we're all going okay let's do it [Music] but the sidewalk is finally open Oh totally no I'm right there with you [Music] it's a cool building I think I'm gonna [Music] so cool look at the feeling [Music] good to go faith kids are someone we can talk yeah I don't let me Steve okay fine I go I got it oh you could encompass just sent me an email oh yeah oh yeah we're good oh um yeah they have office space available yeah yeah okay fine so that B's it's a week building right next to a chocolate store we could do QA or we just do it after maybe we just doing the like day-in-the-life or no QA that's probably the easiest thing we are getting a video today yeah it's better than nothing good how are you good so we ordered some hardware samples for you for cabinets Thanks [Music] I'm so excited for here on social media but they really are the rock and the foundation behind everything so yeah I just wanted to say thank you so much
