The BEST Decision We Made

Laura Hardin

What do you like best?

We were previously using an all-paper hiring and on-boarding method. We switched all those documents over to Sign Now, and our whole process is so much easier and smoother. We have 7 terminals in 3 states so being all-paper was cumbersome and, frankly, silly. We've removed so much of the burden from our terminal managers so they can do what they do: manage the business.

Easy to use, increases productivity

Erin Jones

What do you like best?

I love that I can complete signatures and documents from the phone app in addition to using my desktop. As a busy administrator, this speeds up productivity . I find the interface very easy and clear, a big win for our office. We have improved engagement with our families , and increased dramatically the amount of crucial signatures needed for our program. I have not heard any complaints that the interface is difficult or confusing, instead have heard feedback that it is easy to use. Most importantly is the ability to sign on mobile phone, this has been a game changer for us.

Cap phone field

welcome to another installment of tak phone ops today's episode we're going to discuss the Soviet Army's P 193 m switchboard and this is it right here arm comes in this nice canvas carrying case pretty heavy duty that's we got straps on it carry like a backpack it's fairly heavy and I don't think would be that comfortable to do you probably could do it if you wanted to heavy duty canvas bag I'm really excited because this actually came with the actual this is the actual basically year periodic maintenance inspection chats certifications it's actually been signed off the in 1980 a check was done on it and this other one right here this one this is the actual operated instructions manual how to set it up operated minor unit level maintenance okay we'll go ahead and get it out it is quite heavy it weighs about 25 pounds we'll get it out and set that down like that I'll put the case all the way side and this is it I'm basically a steel case or a baked enamel finish this is the front a little label on there back on this side has a schematic for how to set it up and how it operates hand Craigs on the other side like I said this is the front it's a hinged cover it's got a part of the back I'll go ahead and up we'll talk about that first this is funny because you have to open the front cover to get the back cover so bear with me and we'll get the back cover opened up spin it around now [Applause] okay here's the back right here um it's interesting it comes to these you loosen these screws these slide out you can actually hang it on a wall or side of a vehicle or a tree or whatever and to open the back up you swing these little latches up and the whole thing swings forward like this latches front piece out of the way and there we go okay but inside of the cover maintain standard hands it's like used on the Soviet level t57 phones and lustre radios put your talk connects right here can plug it unplug it probably can add a headset if you want to a minute we'll find one yet so rubber bumper right here keeps this in place on the lids closed battery compartments inside here use one of the big huge square 9-volt batteries like a lot of the other Russian stuff does this is the actual binding posts for connecting your field wire to it could do ten fold line to design new ten phone lines it's got extra binding posts for ending a ground adding a what's called the emergency operator station where you could take an external field phone and set it up next to it use that as the operator position the P add to it also has this piece or ideas for adding what's called a trunking cable this is an interesting concept basically what this allows you to do is they make them in various lengths I'm trying to find one I found one online I don't want to pay a hundred dollars for file basically you would connect that cable onto this run the cable out of the building wherever you're at to a tree or pole or whatever and that's where you make all your field wire connection su and it makes sense if you want to have to run individual field wires all the way through ability to get the switchboard bring one wire and you're done it's got these little covers right here basically what you would do is you'd get it open these up put all your field wire in place and go ahead and close it and there you go you're ready for operations okay now I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to swing it around open the front up okay spread cover that's a little bit different if you get the print can actually be operated two ways I'm going to go ahead and do it the easiest way this latch open on here fold sound like this this could actually be folded all the way underneath if you want to sit on top of it this is it right here this is each of the the phone lines is represented by one of these squares right here's a little spot we can write with pencil grease pencil this is what's called a bail basically keeps everything in place while you're transporting and these are the actual plugs for each of the individual phone lines basically to answer this phone as you get in something call open the Bale up is it with [Music] ah nope with everyone side it's pretty stiff okay there we go there holds his old trap doors in position and with you an incoming phone call rules reps we drop and basically the operator to answer the call by pressing the button and saying hey what's going on person would talk to them and then would either use a path cord which is inside here I'll get out later to pass to the part of they wanted to call or you know the calls done on likewise the effort I wanted to call somebody they would push the party they wanted to call make the call when you're completely put this is the release button right here this panel right here actually swings forward these little holes is plus things are basically plastic holders for each other the Pat's cord and basically it functions like it has to be 22 sort of except having an operator patch cord you have to blue around we want to answer a call and make a call you have these buttons in the release I've been a wall I'll go ahead and set this up and we'll go ahead and make some phone calls when I set up you'll notice there are there's individual Pat scores hardwired for each of the phone lines like I said this would be their version of an SP 22 it's possible to take two of these and set them side-by-side or stack them and they'll work together because the cords are long enough in operational local battery mode I haven't found anything where it operates in a combat or y'all keep looking but that's pretty much it go ahead now and uh I'll shut down will hook up some phones to it or watch you demonstrate how calls are made okay welcome back we've got it all hooked up and wired up some phones and we're going to make some calls okay first thing you notice is this is each one of the the phone lines right here has this individual cord it plugs in that little plug right there all that is basically as a holder for the passport so it doesn't get out of way or anything it's color coordinated red black red black like that each one down these are the trapdoors that will pop when you receive an incoming call also interesting this is the accessory kit that came with it this palette right here this canvas bag with cloth bag and along here these little slots right there is where the actual path cord plugs went into when you packed it up then they provided you with two different size screwdrivers to take the system apart and this isn't so this is actually a tool to reach inside and Bend the old contacts got too long I thought that's pretty handy plus they give you some spare passports and salty after like I said I have it all wired up but that covers closures want to open I feel will close it up that's the purpose of the bail the bail is locked in place during transport to keep these from popping down and get damaged I think they're a little bit on the delicate side but basically what would happen is we get a phone call one of these would trip that would key the operator who to answer he'd answer the call by pressing the button above the corresponding low trap blow it open and talk to the person when he got the burn he would then either talk the person and the call by pressing this release button or by passing the call to somebody help say somebody called and I wanted one to talk to three you would go ahead and answer the call on three probably take and pull the past cord out I don't know if he'd put it all the way into three that's what the end of the passport looks like I would just probably set it there right there for the time being then he would push the button call Station three and say hey I have a phone call for you from so-and-so and then you would catch this in and say go ahead with your call and release that button and the system is ready to go again when they finish the call one of the people would bring back to him and let him know drop pull the call you would pull this out likewise is possible to do multiple phone calls you just patch patch them down the line one to two to the three to fortify all the way down line and so forth everybody can talk together you can ring in call everybody like that and that's pretty much it let's go ahead and now we'll do some test phone calls okay here we go I'm going to start it on up like and looked up a whole bunch of all my Warsaw Pact phone since is there any Warsaw Pact switch well go ahead this is the PA i-43 so you see it dropped pillow number inside there letting the operator knows position number one the operator would answer it by pushing the button picking up the handset and saying hello person under the other one would tell me I want to talk to Solent or whatever the conversation is the operators say okay stand by that you want to talk to position numbers pick six that's expose with them okay the operator would release push the call button four six it's got a hand crank called position six here talk position six hey hey I got a phone call from who's ever on why one plug it in as you leave a this on because you tell both parties hey go ahead and talk now you release it somehow you have a person talking four position six the person exists one touch one trip definitely and it works as advertised okay now make a whole bunch of phone calls here we'll just try it out when he gets done that flip it up everybody's done let's go ahead and Farley another one this is the TP TP e25 see it drop I said there's no any kind of oral or visual alarm or excuse me beeper the light that's just that thing dropping right there he's going to answer a who do you want to talk to also I want to talk to let's say this is with you wants to talk to three stations I want to talk to position number four and who's everyone number five like I said you'd had it written down above who it is operand said okay stand by pick this up and say hey stand by it for a phone call call number five [Music] right over there stand by for a phone call plug it in and say okay everybody is connected let me know you're done put that up now is this number one right here is talking to position number excuse it this number one from right here is top position five definitely catch it hold it that's good and that's how it works and if you wanted to he could go through and he could plug every single one of these darn things into it all together I'll do that right now I'll go ahead and make one one map of all called everybody so we're going to pass 1 2 2 to 3 3 to 4 4 to 5 and 5 to 6 and I'm going to push the call is going to send the called connect the ringer to one other is going to connect all the other positions by the past 4 hopefully all these phones are rings and they're all ring and that's pretty much it but these were stackable what the SB 22 was we could take input two of them together this cut scores are long enough to one person could operate two sections with you know they've given 20 lines these are fairly delicate like I said before I don't know what the hell your rate is on them I'd like to do some more research on internet maybe somebody some of these work with these those in the Soviet military knows and I said a little bail bar right there the load is when you pack it up keep those in position this will work with all the Warsaw Pact phones and I have a real sneaky suspicion I haven't tried yet they'll work with the NATO phones so look forward to some more videos and I'm probably going to do one where we actually interconnect ASB 22 it bunch of NATO phones to a Warsaw Pact this animals so like a big big Gator connected Network using the two different kind of switchboards and that's it that's the Soviet Army's p1 93m manual 10 line switchboard
