good morning good afternoon good evening um today is may 30th 2022 and i wanted to talk to you about a very very tiny small little feature within performance management really one i guess i will consider a platform in particular route maps but before i tell you more about it i wanted to start promoting an his bootcamp that i'm starting uh basically i'll be teaching everything i wish i knew when i started my career so more to come on that if you have any questions let me know but i haven't launched it formally yet i'm doing like a pilot right now but i think the program is looking really good because um there's some stuff right that you see it's it's interesting but i just never learned it right until late in my career and i see still professionals very seasonal professionals right that might not know some of these tips and tricks that i think make a ton of people so anyways let me talk about what what i'm what i'm what i really want to talk to you today so this has to do with the idea of carbon copy right cc forms and success factors now why would we want to use this and i've actually had remember several cases in which let's say you're going through a performance form right or even job requisition mostly on performance and uh so you have a route map associated with it you have different roles right that interact within the process let's say manager and employee so self-assessment manager assessment then some acknowledgement etc and then you're done right but what about hr right what is along the line six months down the line you are getting sued for example and so you need to get a copy of the performance form of the person or whatever right whatever the scenario might be that you you want to copy that form onto someone else that perhaps wasn't a participant within the route map how can you do that okay this is different than if there are changes within individuals holding a particular role right so for example if i find a manager i have two direct reports and then one of them switches managers right gets transfers get promoted whatever right what happened to his documents or her documents that and how do they automatically move to the new manager that's a completely different story maybe i can do another video about it but right now i'm just exclusively focusing on carbon copy a performance form or a forum or anything that uses a route map that might not be within the um the original workflow or i should say workflow route map okay let me show you how that looks like share my screen okay so i'm simply going to navigate to [Music] i'm going to type route map manage route maps in this case i'm just gonna select a random one so this...
