hey welcome back guys so today on this video we're talking about cash app and more specifically I'm going to quickly answer a question I've been getting a lot recently on my other video and that is how do you send an invoice through cash app so let's go ahead and talk about this first off guys right off the bat cash app does not have an invoice function but you can request someone to pay you through cash out but why would you want to send an invoice through cash app anyways well that's pretty easy if you run a marketing company and one of your clients wants to pay you through cash app whatever the case is it's a pretty easy process it's handled here in the cash app it's this green and white one right here check my video description I'll try to leave the written instructions there as well but I'm going to open up my cash app now okay guys I went ahead and opened up my cash app this is the home screen now like I said the cash app doesn't actually have an invoice function but you can request someone to pay you through cash app and that's what we're going to go over right now before I show you how to send a request for payment through cash app I want to warn you that if cash app starts realizing you're accepting business payments they will switch your account over to a business account and you'll be charged three percent anytime somebody sends you money through cash app and that could be even from your family and friends also make sure that you are sending a request or an invoice to a customer that you know well or you've done business with because if somebody sends you money through cash app and they reneg on the payment or they dispute their payment with their Bank cash app immediately shuts down both accounts and that happened to me in the past however if you'd still like to go ahead and send an invoice through cash app what you want to do is go ahead and just type in how much of an invoice you want to send to that person so for example we'll just type in one dollar for this purpose of this video once you've chosen how much of an invoice you want to send to someone through cash app you want to click on this button here called request it's down here on the bottom left okay so this is actually really important so here at the top you're going to need to put in their cash tag which is basically their cash app username they would need to provide that to you if you don't have that you can send it to their phone so if you have their cell phone number or their email address now if you use their cell phone number or their email and they do not have a cash app set up it's okay because they will receive a request to go ahead and sign up for a cash app in order to receive the request that you're sending to them however if you're having trouble collecting payment from that particular person cash app's not really a good way to send out collection efforts so for this video I'm going to go ahead and type in a cell phone number to someone I can send a request for cash out okay so once you type in their number it's going to pop up right here and next you can go ahead and put in four so basically you can put a note as to why you are sending that person an invoice through cash app that way when they receive the request they'll know what it's for so if it was for a car payment or marketing services or whatever it is you're selling you want to type that in there it is optional but I would recommend it that way they receive the cash app invoice request and they're not confused on what it's for so once you've filled that out you can go ahead and click on this green request button here at the top right okay so this screen pops up it says that I have requested one dollar from that person through cash app so again it's not really an invoice that you're sending through cash app but the person will receive a request letting them know that I'm requesting them to pay their invoice through my cash app so that's a quick work around and if you're wondering how to send an invoice through cash app that's the easiest way I know how to do it if you're watching this video in the future and you know if there is an invoice feature with cash app be sure to leave a comment below let the rest of us know hopefully you found that video useful if so click thumbs up or maybe consider subscribing to my channel and I hope to see you on the next video thanks again for watching
