hi everyone this is Michael from the Central Kansas library system today I'm going to show you how you can digitally sign a document and specifically we're going to be working with the Pathfinder user agreement in the past the Pathfinder agreement was fully paper so I sent you a paper copy you would sign and then send me back a paper copy and this year we're going to be doing a digital version which will make things faster and cheaper and I'm going to show you exactly what that process will look like you're going to receive an email in your library's email inbox and the sender will be me Michael adamek and the subject line is going to say signature requested on Pathfinder user agreement 2023 and this is the email that you'll need to open in order to sign it digitally here's the email it is from Adobe Acrobat sign there is a short message here and one thing that is important to remember is before you sign this make sure that your library board has already seen the new updated form user agreement and it has voted to approve it because it is policy and your board needs to approve it in a vote once that's done you can go ahead and sign it so we want to click on the blue review and sign button it will open in a new window as we can see it's grayed out and so we need to go to the bottom and click the blue continue button which means that we have agreed to the Adobe terms of use and the Adobe privacy policy you can click on those if you want to see more details and then the message that I put on here will pop up here you can close it or ignore it and it will close itself and we don't have to scroll down to the parts that need signed if we see right here there's this yellow tab that says resume all we need to do is click on that and it will jump to the area that you need to sign as we can see this is already filled out with your library name and the library code it's pre-filling the date where you are signing it and then we can see it's already been signed by the director and the date that it was signed by the director so we need to click here in the yellow area for you to sign it with your digital signature and it's going to ask you to type your name and then if we click apply it's going to put your signature in there and it tells us the date that you signed it and then we will click next and it jumps to the next part of the agreement which is signing the Privacy policies and I'm going to print my name here and put in my library name and then because I've...
