good morning calm 3928 dr. Mueller here today Monday morning about 9:50 a.m. I wanted to get to you with the assignment for this you know the next assignment into the next Tuesday is well I think it's fun these are two really fun assignments I think real intuitive and you can learn a lot from them the first one here will be how to geo map our data points all right from I think the easiest program there's different programs to do this I thought about teaching you some other graphing programs that would do it but I think this is the easiest way it's called Google my maps somewhat unknown to some people but but pretty fun and easy to use now remember before we start this we did two things on original data set we took our whole variable of all the zip codes and we cut that out and put that in its own data set right it's in its own excel sheet it runs right down the first column is one variable that's all that's in it right and the header on top should say zip code or something such as that right and then later we're going to talk about sentiment analysis so remember there we took that whole column that whole variable of open-ended type responses and we caught a cut that out and put that in its own separate excel data sheet right okay so let's do this I'll show you how to run my maps a lot of fun a lot of options to do this too so I'm going to grab the main screen start right here on a you know your blank Google browser and just type in my maps right and you'll see this my maps Google right and click that and this should sync up to one of your accounts you know whatever gmail account you're using and I'm gonna use my appstate account you know some of us have several right so I'll sign in to that and then it should come up because it's linking to my Google account right and you may want to use your school account that's fine okay so here it is pretty simple I cleaned out all my maps it'll save a lot of maps if you want to keep them in there I clean my now but create a new map pretty easy so far right and let's see this will pop up and then real easy right here import now here's the whole global map right and this is fun you can scroll in and out on it I'm gonna keep it like this to show you something in a second but import right so we go here and right here select the file from your computer right we've done that before Google Drive here's our class come 39:28 this semester and looking down here here's our zip codes remember I saved my zip codes so here it...
