hi there so today we're going to be talking about the elementary subject praxis test okay so that's praxis 2 and i'm going to tell you a few of the tips and tricks that i used in order to study and pass it in under two weeks so it's actually quite interesting because i became a teacher during the year of covid and so it was a very interesting and challenging year but i've never stepped foot in the classroom before i was a newbie with a desire to teach and i had passion but no experience so it was quite interesting because i didn't know that you could teach without an education degree and so you know i had a friend that started doing it and i was i was like what and so i inquired about it i applied it a few places and because i had a bachelor's degree and because i said that i would enter a all certification program working toward my certification and i took would take the practice too then i would be able to be hired and start teaching as a teacher so when i first became a teacher one of the things that everybody talked about was the practice practices too you know i got to go get certified in this i want to i want to get certified in that and so they all said it was so hard and it kind of freaked me out because i had to take it you know so coming from a background with no education or no education in education i really didn't have the edge when i took my test but one common thing that i found a lot of people did recommend me to go do was to go and buy the or that year so 2020s praxis guidelines or praxis study set or maybe some flash cards and so me at the time i couldn't afford that so i had to find an alternate route so fast forward a little bit i was put in a situation where i only had like one to two weeks to study before the test and so now i was taking all four subject tests at once so i sat down i tried to make a plan i said okay what are my weaknesses what are my strengths and what information is actually on the test you know tests like these are standardized which means they have to test um the same or majority of the same concepts every year and so before you can do algebra you need to do addition and subtraction and so this is the same thought process i had when i went into studying so immediately i tried to find an older pdf version of the same type of elementary praxis study guides that you could buy in the store for the 2020 version so which i could use as a resource and so i found one and i'm...
