Basically, every action you take, every decision you make, creates a completely different reality. So right now there could be a world out there where we lost the second world war, or you are a hollywood actor, or even a world where hollywood doesn't even exist! And if you find a way to cross into other universes and kill, well, you, in every one of them, you become the one... Okay that probably wont happen. But lets get back to this potential proof of the multiverse. This all started in 2004 when researchers at NASA discovered something very strange in space. I mean yeah, they discover strange things all the time, but this really confused them. What they discovered was an unusually cold region, and yeah space is already pretty cold, but this region was 1.8 billion light years across and colder than its surroundings. Like I said, this was very confusing to astronomers because it was impossible for them to explain mathematically. At the time, researchers thought that particular region was colder because it had 10,000 less galaxies than other areas of roughly the same size and thus creating a void. But this, according to this new study, researchers now think its colder because it’s caused by another universe smacking into ours, kinda like a universal car wreck. And because of the force of the impact, energy was pushed out of the region, thus making that particular area colder. Professor Tom Shanks, an astronomer at Durham University and a co-author of the study said: And this is all really exciting because if this is true, if this cold spot is the first evidence of a multiverse, and if parallel universes do indeed exist, alot of things just make more sense.
