crew tour that one of the things I wanted to get to I just haven't had time which is the long-standing feud between motley crew and poison let me read a quote to you from years ago where Nikki Sixx talked about poison and if you think oh this is old news why are you talking about this they've toured with poison before I'll read you a quote from just a few months ago where Nikki Sixx was also talking about poison these two bands I don't know if they personally get along but Nikki Sixx has never stopped saying negative [ __ ] about poison anyways this is the quote from years ago he said no way in hell would we ever ever tour with a man like poison that would be the death of us I will not be attached to that kind of fake BS fast forward after that quote from Nikki Sixx in 2011 when it was announced that Motley Crue would indeed be touring with poison Bret Michaels was under the impression that Nikki Sixx had actually apologized to him for that quoted from past Motley Crue disses towards poison he told The Arizona Republic that he had apologized to him and then Nikki Sixx went out of his way to go on Twitter to say I never apologized for what I said about poison he said just to clarify Bret Michaels recently said I apologized to him about derogatory comments that Motley made about poison in the past and this isn't what I said what I did say was I personally never had anything against you guys as people but Motley just sort of thought you sucked as a band but let's give the fans what they want and go out and have a good time he never even apologized for what he had to say and given this new tour with Motley Crue the comeback after the farewell Def Leppard and then poison this has been years ago you think okay everything's under the table but Nikki Sixx is actually still [ __ ] on poison and still [ __ ] on her music this is what he said in a Kerrang interview back in March he was asked in said interview the explosion of Nirvana in 1991 did great damage to Motley Crue was it fair that you were lumped in with bands such as poison and Warren he says I have to say that I don't think that Nirvana and Pearl Jam killed the bands mentioned I think that they killed themselves they're making copycat music so obviously nikki sixx clearly doesn't think much of the band they put on their tour or that they're touring with next summer but he doesn't care he's there to play his set and you could probably bet the Motley Crue and boys and probably won't be hanging out too closely around each other in the backstage area on this tour that will say this in all fairness while Nikki Sixx clearly isn't going out of his way to say nice things about poison I also on this kind of God if agree with them if you go back and look at the early poison material I'd be kind of pissed too they sort of were a carbon copy at that time of Motley Crue and that never sat well with them it's you know he's looking back at that era of time if you go back I challenge you go back and listen to early poison material it does sort of seem like they were maybe put together to look and sound and feel just like Motley Crue based off their success at the time now that's pure speculation on my part but I can kind of at least see where Nikki Sixx is coming from but nonetheless that was years ago and it just doesn't look like they're gonna be growing down anytime soon on this tour and that's okay too they're there to put on the best show they can for fans that's a whole nother question we've already talked about that at length again I think the MA I think Motley Crue is a band is tight Nikki Sixx everybody all those guys they sound amazing live I just hope that and I think it's very possible as well that Vince Neil has the the propensity to get himself in shape
