Getting certified will give your business preferred status for government contracts and give you access to more contract opportunities. I will show you how to begin the application process. To begin, go to www.caleprocure.ca.gov. A link is provided in the description of this video. Click the Login / Register button in the top right corner. Enter your username and password and click “login.” If you do not have a username and password, you need to first register your business. Click the link in the description to watch our video on how to register your business. Next, scroll down through your WorkCenter. If you have not been certified, click “Get Started.” Then review the required documents you need to prepare for the application process. When you are ready to apply, click the “Get Certified” button. If you have been certified, instead click “Manage Certification” and then “Apply for Certification.” Review the eligibility requirements for each certification before applying. Check the box next to each certification you will apply for. You can apply for more multiple certifications at the same time. Click “Next” to begin your application. Answer each question before moving on to the next section. Follow all instructions to complete your certification application. In step 6 of the application you will select the Keywords and United Nations Standard Product and Services Codes that describe the goods and services you sell.
