this video i'm going to talk about zomedica corp ticker symbol zom i'm going to talk about three things in this video why i invested 1500 in zom my analysis and research about it at what price i bought z o m and why i bought it and the third thing is what i think that can happen to this stock what is the future in my personal opinion where the som stock price can go from 98 cents that is investment if you decide to all right so without further delay let's talk about zomedica corp the zom stock was closed at 97 cents today i bought 1500 zom at 97 cents today now why i bought this if you know i i had a video yesterday where i talked in further detail about what are some of the catalysts and my analysis on some stock yesterday i wasn't sure and also the stock was trading in a barcoded pattern let's take a look how it was trading yesterday this is yesterday's chart if you can take a look here it was trading kind of a barcode so it opened up at one dollar and eight cents started trading at barcode one dollar and two cents three cents uh it went up to one dollar and five cents went back to one dollar one cent and two cents and it continued throughout the day and throughout the trading session i kept thinking about zom yesterday but i couldn't figure out what exactly happened and why the stock is trading the way it was trading i did buy i did buy zometica when it was around 80 cents and i sold it around one dollar and five cents or one dollar and 10 cents already already booked 25 30 profit in xeom stock and why i sold that because i want i had better opportunity to invest my money into it into into a different stock and get better return but now i have enough cash to buy as america once again and i bought it at 97 cents let's take a look at how it was traded today open at one dollar and two cents and then it started trading around 98 cents and 97 cents so i found it had a great support at 97 cents or 98 cents and it did not go below that price range however it did go to it did go to 94 cents in previous trading session and that was the real support that i thought if you think here it was 94 cents got back to 92 cents and quickly came back up to one dollar and seven cents and then since then it was trading around 97 cents more or less so it has a great support at 94 cents i thought i may get it if there's a dip in the stock because the market was sideways today anyway but it did not go below 96 97 cents and i decided to buy it at 97 cents i i already showed you the pattern which was pretty interesting but the stock was up six point six seven percent yesterday let's take a look at how the stock volume was today the stock volume was 71 million which was half than the average volume it's not a bad sign in my opinion the market cap of the company is 812 million in general the stock looks pretty stable uh if you see there are no speaks and value in that sense the way the stock was traded if you take a look at one month chart it started from 23 cents of one month back it was trading below one dollar went up to 48 cents from 48 cents it went up to 1.30 cents and it dropped to 98 cents level on january 13th and since then it is trading within the same price range and there are a lot of positive news and catalyst that i am going to share i'm going to share why i bought the stock and what i'm thinking i can do with my investment in future so let's take a look at once again the volume the volume was 135 million yesterday 70 million today but it did not really drag the price down the market was sideways anyway throughout the day i wanted to share some of the timeline that i have noticed i have analyzed and the company announced in november on november 13 2020 america announced that they are setting the march 30th 2021 is an expected commercialization date for their product true forma and the company and that then there was some momentum in the stock in november so it's q4 2020 and in 2021 on january 18th their ceo issues the shareholder letter as true forma nears the commercialization and they have they ship and he shared that zometica received more than 40 million of additional cash through january 15 2021 this additional infusion of cash will help the company and their balance sheet now they have more than 90 million dollars in cash of all capital and operating expenditure from the fourth quarter now let's take a look at what the company had in terms of cash the company had 52 million dollars in cash in q3 2020 they are not revenue positive which means they have no sales at the moment if there is no sales at the moment think about it if there is sales if there is revenue numbers that company can start booking revenue at the end of march or early in q2 that will gain a lot more momentum in terms of stock price because their net income which is negative 5 million there is a strong possibility based on the revenue number that this number that negative five million dollar number could be better it depends upon company's strategy and how they are approaching their sales and marketing but according to me in my research i found that company is pretty focused they're they're declaring on november 13 that they're setting march 30th as the commercialization date for true forma on january 18 the ceo announces that they they received more cash and they are near to the commercialization date and right after that there is an announcement that zomerica signs true format distribution contract agreement with miller veterinary supply they announced that they signed an agreement with miller for the distribution of true formal zometica's first product plan to begin the sales on march 30th 2021. that makes me think if you take a look at the timeline of all these three announcements in november they're they're setting up the expected commercialization date in january their ceo sends a letter and confirms that they are near to launch and commercialize their true formal product in january 20 in january itself they're signing this distribution agreement that all makes me think that company is on track and they're trying to deliver what they have said and committed in terms of timeline and product marketing for themselves now let's take a look at what company is company is up to there is no revenue in q3 now even if they're born with the same cash rate of five million dollar the company has enough cash to burn up until 2023 in addition they can also use this cash to for the inventory purposes for product marketing and launch and additional supply chain management now their product true forma is a unique product true for mine clinic biosensor platform it's a diagnostic platform with uh unique capabilities and this is a diagnosis of thyroid diseases in dogs and cats and adrenal diseases in dogs the one of the one of the biggest advantage of true forma is they have they can get the results within 20 minutes and it is pretty accurate in cats and dogs which means it's a pretty convenience for the pets and pet owners and also for the vets and this and and which is why this is a unique product and this can be widely adopted in the market their moo also got a lot more attention from the analysts and a lot more publication and articles within the within the online space uh which is also helping company to promote their product and getting a lot more attention from the investors from the retail investors after all this after the barcode pattern after the high volume 70 million for a small stock of 97 cents or one dollar i would consider as a very high volume of 70 million uh volume within one trading session i do believe that the stock did not go down so that's also positive if a company is trading at one dollar before revenue pre revenue and if the company can show and prove there is some sort of revenue in q2 that can definitely spike the stock price that's what i am thinking i do think that if they can start commercializing commercializing their product if they can start getting some revenue if they get initial review and use cases reviews from the vets and the industry experts i do believe that one dollar stock of zom can hit three or four dollars in q2 now this is my personal opinion this is my personal investment so do your own due diligence i'm just sharing what i think personally for myself and why i bought some stock i may sell it early i may keep it for a long term it depends what type of opportunity that i'll be getting in future if i get something that i know for sure that i can double my investment within a week i may choose to sell zom and buy something else and that's what precisely i did in the past so i would recommend you do your own due diligence and research i hope
