What do you like best?

I have been with airSlate SignNow since the early stages. When I first signed up for airSlate SignNow it was owned by airSlate SignNow and very new, throughout the years it became CudaSign owned by Barracuda Networks for awhile and now it’s back to its original name. Even though the branding and name changes happened as expected in most cases the platform was always reliable and always worked great! Throughout my time using it the features stayed pretty much the same but just kept getting better and better over time. None of my data was ever lost or moved, the forms just kept getting snappier and snappier, and the application kept getting smarter. Clients never had an issue figuring out how to use it and the whole experience has been amazing!

Conclude initials request

this conference will now be recorded hello everyone so in this session uh this live session of the app files workshop we are gonna uh take uh the steps to show you how to prepare an offer in less than 10 minutes as we all know uh in these you know times this market that we're uh working in uh there's a lot of houses that come on the market and then the next day they go pending so we need to be a little fast with our little fingers and you know get this paperwork over to a buyer in a timely manner and we thought that this would be a great way to show you how to improve in your skills using app files so we're going to go ahead and get started uh step one in our little cheat sheet it says to log into the mls so we have the mls open one of our agents uh has allowed us to use her listings uh for this uh workshop so we're gonna go ahead and use her listing uh as a sample okay so we have our listing here that we want to make an offer on uh so i'm gonna leave this uh uh page open okay now uh step number two is to create your app file so we're gonna toggle back to the file system you should have all these windows open when you're preparing uh your offer so we're going to create a new app file now what i like to do is go back to the mls and quickly copy the property address file type always start out as buyers okay now the buyer side sale paperwork uh this property was built in 1970 so we're going to do single family pre-1978 your name as it appears in your real estate license buyer's name i wouldn't worry about a lot of these fields for now okay so just to get your files going we're going to enter as little information as possible to get it going all right so here is your app file okay uh one of the tips that i always tell you guys to do is to start out here on the right hand side start with the listing and contract information and dates we're going to click edit import values and we're going to import from stellar mls now this is where you go back to the mls copy the mls number and we're going to paste it here and this pulls up the information for your file you're going to acknowledge start import click done and then under listing broker and agent information you're going to do the same thing import from stellar mls paste the mls number and click i acknowledge start import now for the rest of the information this is where you have to be a little fast with your little fingers and bill sullivan here sitting next to me uh is volunteering his information so we can get this offer going okay and then number two and these are just all pretend so we can get this show going okay now selling in broker an agent or selling broker and agent information here's where you enter your name and this is just for the information to import into your offer documents okay now for the seller information i quickly go into back to the mls and i know this part isn't in your um little cheat sheet uh but what i do is copy quickly the seller's information and enter it there okay so on the right hand side you should have buyer information listing contract information and dates uh listing broker and agent info selling broker and agent info and the seller name okay now we're going to go into ad forms and here you have your form packages we're going to select the as-is contract package i always look for the as is contract first okay and then i add the forms that are needed to get the offer at least started okay now uh there may be some uh documents that the agent may have uh added in the mls i wouldn't worry about getting those signed uh right away but if that's the case you can always download and import into your file later okay so here we have our paperwork contract etc so we're going to click on import values this time you're going to import from info fields and you're going to choose all this information and click on start import done now you see my seller name did an import so i am going to see why so you must enter the seller's name in the seller name one field and that's how you fix that we're gonna go back to and then just to save time we're going to paste it there let's see how much this property is listed for so just quickly fill in information all right and then as you go along just you know enter the dates and just make sure that whatever addendums that need to accompany are checked make sure your information is correct there fill in the dates and just keep going through your forms to make sure everything is correct and this is not correct all right so now we're getting ready to send this for a signature request to the buyer start a signature request buy your signature buyer initials buyer initials make sure everything says what it needs to say or checked off next and this is where you select the or enter the gene okay i'm going to click next and that's how you quickly send a an offer or prepare an offer in less than 10 minutes for e-signatures to a buyer okay now just for uh uh show i will download the um some of these so that i can quickly show you how to import them into your app file so we have a seller's disclosure so we're going to upload files start upload and any time you upload anything into your file is going to end up right here on the left hand side here's your seller's disclosures we're going gonna click on edit and select the role buyer initials place initials and you're going to do this throughout the document now when you're placing a buyer signature you always want to click on display the signature date and when you paste it there you want to select the signature bottom and move it to where the date is it just looks cleaner okay and we're going to close this and that's how you quickly start uh oops upload attachments and edit a document for signatures mr initial and always double check your work guys uh sometimes we get some feedback from the compliance department for initials that are missing uh signatures that are missing you know especially on the lead-based paint uh addendum a lot of times those initials can be easily missed or signature can be easily missed by a listing or a selling agent so just make sure you double check your work now i'm going to open this up for anybody um that has any questions regarding what i just showed you guys nobody [Music] uh if you want to unmute yourselves and ask a question you can go right ahead hi sandy mayer i have a question hi um when you copied the seller disclosure from the internet that's what that's what i have trouble doing because sometimes i feel like i have to download it from the mls site and and then i can put it in so how did you go directly and download it from the mls site so what i did is i uh went and i let me go back sorry i'm gonna have to share my screen again one second so closes so here when you go into the mls you click on the attachments they're going to show up now you're going to click on the uh documents you download them okay now i every time i download something it appears down here on the bottom of my screen so i quickly click on it to make sure that it is the correct document um and then uh what i do is i click on upload files so once it's downloaded it's going to appear in your downloads or i'm not sure where in your computer it ends up uh but i i clicked on browse and mine defaults to my downloads folder and there's the property disclosure i click open and start upload okay so you do have to download it somewhere yes yes and so any attachments in the mls right the any attachments in the mls you do have to download okay because i usually download them to like my own file so i just didn't know if there was a faster way to download them unfortunately not i think i'll start doing that just go directly to downloads okay thank you do we have any other questions anybody okay well if no one else has any questions uh we're gonna go ahead and conclude this session uh it will be available later today uh via our facebook group and also uh will be posted on our website either today or tomorrow uh it will also be available in the app files uh tutorials uh we do have you're welcome so uh thank you for attending this quick uh files tutorial uh we hope that you guys are being very productive and again as always if you have any questions uh without files just give us a call here at the office if it's a technical support issue you can contact files directly uh there's uh the support button always here at the top of your screen the app file support and then their phone number appears right there okay hey z where do we find your tutorials in app files where where on the menu so the tutorials uh will not be in the actual app file system they're all on our website luxuryandbeachrealty.com okay great thank you thank you thank you for doing this very helpful yes of course and then there's also uh cheat sheets on our website uh if you go into our website luxuryandbeachrealty.com uh under agent center you will find the app files tutorials and that's where you'll find uh all of the tutorials as well as as the cheat sheets that i often uh uh send you guys uh before i uh you know come up with these workshops and uh the tutorials one other thing i got your cheat sheet yesterday and i just made up a test file now i need to have it taken off you know so i just oh no worries so if you guys are practicing on a file that's very easy just put in you can create an update alert and then make sure you select the compliance department and just and just you know something uh quick you know please delete this file it's just a test and then um you know create the update the uh compliance department will be alerted and they can remove the file for you any any other questions okay have a nice day guys thank you v it was great it was a great uh very informational loved it thank you you're welcome bye thank you bye it was great appreciate it anytime

What is needed for an electronic signature?

To create an electronic signature and use it to validate a digital document, you need a reliable electronic signature platform, like airSlate SignNow. All you have to do is create your own account, upload a document and add as many Signature Field elements as you need. Once you click on your recipient(s) click on the element assigned to them, a window asking them to create an electronic signature will appear. You’ll receive automated notifications for each recipient when they execute their element. Once everyone has signed (assuming there is more than one signer involved), airSlate SignNow will send each participant an executed PDF copy of the form or contract.

What counts as an electronic signature?

Any symbol on a document can be considered an electronic signature if the signer has confirmed their intention to sign a document and do business digitally. But more importantly, the signature must be associated with the signer. In airSlate SignNow, you can take advantage of the Document History feature and, if necessary, check who and when eSigned your PDF.

Where should I sign in a PDF?

In airSlate SignNow, you can send a freeform invite, in which case the recipient inserts whatever information they want and a signature of their choice. To clearly show the signer what is required of them to fill out, edit the document using the built-in editor. Turn your file into a smart PDF by adding fillable fields, especially for a signature, and configuring a validation layer for each field. Click Invite to Sign, and after entering your recipient's email address, send the form. Your client will see areas where they need to enter some information and if you added one, a field for them to insert their eSignature.
