hey there youtubers is staying strong but Excel VBA is fun I'm actually being joined by my sweet little daughter Ileana she is she is helping she's helping make this make a mess in the room actually nonetheless let's get to our question of the day today our question is is there a way to copy check boxes using VBA and the answer is almost always yes to most questions not that not that I or somebody necessarily knows how to do it but there's almost always a way so let's analyze this you I think you know what I'm gonna do if the code is complicated I'm gonna record this sucker so here's what we're gonna do let's go to Developer tab in Excel click on record macro we're gonna call this one copy check boxes to sheet two it's a really ridiculous name we don't have to use that but whatever it's just so I will remember what's going on here so we're gonna go to developer we're going to insert this guy said he wanted to he wanted to do like 500 check boxes and then kind of emulate those results on another worksheet so depending on the situation there's several loops I don't know if that one there's several different ways to skin that cat so let's go ahead and get to the copying so I'm going to click here I control click control click and you can control C or you can right click and copy just so you can see what I'm doing and I'm gonna head over sheet two and just like I said I'm going to paste or control V okay so we've got that done now I'm gonna stop recording and alt F 11 let's take a look at what happened copy check boxes to sheet 2 here it is so it did an active sheet dot o el e objects dot add and then all these different in parenthesis here we have all these different facets of what have we added so the class type equals forms that check box style one you notice they all say that so it's not the actual name that's just a type of thing that we and it link is false display as icon is false that's probably extraneous details here on the left you'll notice is sixty five point two five this one 63 is from 63 so that is just the degrees left that these are so we'll probably have those all be uniform we could even do a loop now you also know that the top the top is at first 38 so this one's around 38 and then this one 66 whatever that means 66 pixels down maybe here and then the next one that we added was 93 so you can see that it's pretty fair to say you could add maybe thirty-three thirty-two and so we can try that let's go ahead well so anyway we're gonna create...
