hello there this is a quick video on how to set up your system messages for the new system now when you are on the system you're going to run into areas that are going to display information to the public and to your admin staff on the public side will see information such as this information here when they go to log in and create an account and on the admin side the very first screen they see is going to be the communication screen so these are going to be screens you're going to need to modify the content port I'm going to show you how to do that it's really easy and really quick so under system configuration you go into system messages and then on the system messages we're going to have all the different areas that you're going to go in to modify what you see when you're out in the on the user side so for example the first three are on the system homepage for when they log in and here we see the logo at the top we see the footer at the bottom and then we see the login message that can be modified when they go to buy a permit it'll be the permanent disclaimer and then the permit header there's a large number of these you just scroll down and fill them in with the default information that you want to have basically the terms and conditions that people are agreeing to after each change that you do for each of these windows you have to do an update once the updates done then it'll be live on the on the user side now that you may have to you may want to change what is seen from the admin side so this was system messages that's the outside for the public user of the system the homepage that's what the admin sees so when we were looking at the admin page we saw information that you would put out for your daily message of the day for example or for example here's a schedule for your patrol officers you put whatever you want on here it's basically an empty slate and you just go and put whatever you want in there the other things that you're going to want to be able to modify and set up in advance are the temperament text so they were all work roughly the same way where you have what's called a CK editor you put in your content and then you update this information this is what's printed on a temperament for example now one of the things that you're going to definitely want to make sure that you modify is the notice literature so the notice literature has three sections notice literature new notice literature and signature so the notice signature will attach itself to the bottom of either these other two emails so you want to put in you know this is from the security department or whatever information you want in there and contact information in the signature here you're going to say this is the new notice literature this is what the person will get in an email or in regards to receiving a violation if they're if their email is in the system and then this is the past due notice information so here's where you're going to put your past due information about you know how to go about paying that so that's a pretty much some of the basic setups that you have one of the other things that you're going to need to set up under the classic system settings is reply to email addresses so that when those email notices go out if somebody replies to it it comes back if you don't have a party mail address set up for the parking department you might want to consider talking to your IT department to get one set up and basically any replies to the admin or security you'd put them in here so usually we see something like parking services at school comm or security services at the school comm here's where you put the description of the system and down here are the addresses the mailing address and the safety address that you would put in in a lot of cases these two are the same just whatever you put in for the mailing address here copy down here or if the safety address like the actual security office is different from the school address then you could put that down in here down at the bottom for example the parking map or if you have lockers this is where you would put in the put in them the PDF up or jpg up the parking map so you just choose the file put it in and then you can view the current file just by clicking on that and then the current file comes up and that's what's shown when somebody's selecting so that's basically it for now I hope this is of help and if you have any other questions please feel free to check our wiki the wiki is available right here at the top where you just go to the wiki and you're able to get the answers to all the questions that you need for the system alright have a great day and thanks
