hi Kellie Cody here and today I'm going to show you how you can copy an envelope inside of DocuSign but first I want to talk a little bit about why you might want to copy an envelope a really common example might be if you've created a set of documents you've put in all of your form fields you've filled it out you sent it to the first of your two clients for signature and then realize that you forgot to add in a check box or that you maybe made a small error forgot to add in a number instead of having to start over from complete scratch and redoing everything you've done you can void that original envelope make a copy make that quick change and then send out the brand-new version to your clients again so let me show you how you can do that we're starting off here in command and we are inside of an active or under contract transaction and we click go to transaction that takes us into our DocuSign room where we see our existing forms I'm going to click on envelopes and you'll see an envelope that we've previously created I'm going to click on this to open up this envelope and I'm gonna see that I can now void this envelope because oh my gosh I made a mistake so I'm gonna void and I'm going to say missing missing increased deposit on page one I'm going to go ahead and avoid this transaction and there we go DocuSign listing voided successfully all right so I'm gonna go back to my regular room and back into my envelopes and here we go I can see that it's been voided I can open up this now voided transaction go to more and make a copy and then wait patiently for it there we go so now I'm looking at my copy and you'll see that it's added the words copy to it so I'm gonna instead of saying copy I'm gonna say corrected and here we go I still have my original signers they still have their original permissions they still even have the original email subject and message that I created so nothing new is needed for me at this point I'm going to click Next up in the top right hand corner and this is now going to take me into the place where I can make any changes to those fields that I might have missed the first time around I'm gonna click Next again because see they're not working or I'm not super patient not sure what probably was me not being patient enough so now that I am looking in here I'm gonna say oh right and there was that checkbox that I forgot to check the first time around there we go and now I can go and just as before on my original envelope I can send this out for signatures and that is how you create and copy an envelope I hope you found that helpful and I look forward to seeing you next time to learn more about using this game-changing technology for your business check out these videos right over here
