Thank You Shane as you just heard it certainly feels like summer time already but it's still technically a little more than a month away so if you need a fun and active way for your child to stay busy look no further than the YMCA summer camp program and senior program director Aaron fielder joins us live now Aaron thanks for coming on board this morning thank you so much yeah hard to believe the kids are almost already ready to be back out of school on summer break so much for them to see and do this summer through the why yeah we've got tons to offer we've got 15 locations through Hillsboro and Pasco County we've got everything from golf to gymnastics to horseback riding so so much to offer that we're sure every family will be able to find a place where they belong and you know when you think about summer camp air and you certainly think about being outdoors that doors the activities what all can you offer us there you said horseback riding yeah that's over in Camp Christina in our River View location but we've got golf we've got outdoor education a lot of our team-building activities take place outside we've got sports golf yeah lots to offer no shortage of things to do that's for sure and you know what what's always interesting is for working parents timing can get tricky too getting your kid to summer camp but something brand-new this year that you guys are offering that will certainly help parents throughout the day yeah so typically our camp day our curriculum runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. but parents can drop off as early as 7:00 a.m. pick up as late as 6:00 p.m. at no extra cost what we're doing new this year is adding add-on activities so now instead of coming in and while they can still enjoy breakfast and all of that they can sign up for swim lessons gymnastics horseback riding sports we have a ton of different options to enhance that pre and post camp program so the time certainly mirror when you were going to drop off a kid to school absolutely and you know when you think about summer camp we talked about the outdoor activities also something that's important you mentioned it just a minute ago is feeding the kids there and that's always free right yes through Hillsborough County summer break spot we offer free breakfast and lunch and we send out all of those menus to parents in advance so they can tell they can plan their week if they know their kid isn't gonna like what serves on Tuesday they can plan ahead and we have most of our parents that do take advantage of that opportunity certainly helpful for all those parents at home and finally just talk to us about the locations and the key points for how parents can sign up for this yeah so again we've got 15 locations through Hillsboro and Pasco County we've got everything from camps at a Center where they can take advantage of swimming and all of that and then we've got golf at four different locations across the county parents can register at tampa ymca org slash let's camp and we've got tons of information there we've got child testimonials parent testimonials examples schedules and and lots of information there to go on and register all the info they need to get their kid out enjoy the summertime activities thank you Aaron for joining us this morning
