how's it going guys Andy here and welcome to another video just a quick one for you today I had a question in the Facebook group yesterday I think about what to send people who ask for a v80 invoice if you're not a v80 registered company I know that a lot of people will just simply open a word document up and just make something up with their details on and send it to them now that's a little bit long-winded in my opinion there's something a lot quicker and easier that you can do that will save you time and give the customer exactly what they need alrighty so if you come to the my orders section of Amazon in the same way that your customer would they would find your order here so if you direct your customer here and say if you go to the my orders section of Amazon during the top right hand corner there'll be something that says invoice now if you drop that menu down you'll have the option of invoice request invoice or printable order summary now if the company that you've bought it from is v80 registered this will create a v80 invoice and that will have their v18 number on them but if you're not v80 registered you can still go to the same place and go for printable order summary and if you click on this it will give them all the details you would have put on there anyway because if you're not a v80 registered company you can't give them an invoice with a v80 number because you don't have one and it is actually offence to make one up or take one from another company so all you're going to do is get a word document and write the details of the order and the price down and state that it's not a v80 invoice well in actual fact that is everything that you have here so it's quite simple they've even got a link up here that enables you to print this out for your records so rather than opening up a word document and creating something for them and inputting their order details you could simply create a template message saying thank you very much for your order blah blah blah company is not a v80 registered company so I can't send you a v80 invoice however if you go to the my orders section of Amazon and click on invoice drop-down you can choose printable order summary and there you can print off a transaction receipt for your order thank you very much for your custom I look forward to serving you again in the future blardy blardy blar there you have it so that's as simple as that you can create that message once be very polite and friendly and tell them exactly where they need to go and then every time someone asks for an invoice you can just copy and paste that message straight into the message box and send it on its way and that will save you time and effort in creating manual non v80 invoices which is exactly the same as the details that you've got there so that's what I would suggest you do it's nice and quick and very easy to save a lot of time and a lot of effort if you are v80 registered then you would have already input your v18 number in which case the customer will be able to generate their own v80 invoice from this same area anyway so hopefully that will save you a little bit of time and effort in the future as FBA sellers we don't get that many messages from the customers anyway but this is probably one of the few contacts we get with them if we can make it faster and more efficient then that's got to be a good thing so if you found this quick tip useful give me a thumbs up I'd appreciate that hit that subscribe button if you haven't done so already and as usual thank you very much for watching my name's Andy Lawrence and I will catch you on the very next video bye for now [Music]
