hey guys welcome to my youtube channel in this episode we're going to discuss how to create a customized drop-down list based on the user input so basically i have it i have a sample application here and i have two table so in this table i have all my products and it's categorized by by a brand then here i have basically a sale table so when i whenever i want to save this item i will just click plus and then choose like this so what we're going to do this in this video is we're gonna create a customize drop down list okay so here for example if the user choose refresh if the user choose the brand let's say samsung and here in the product name it should only display all the samsung products and if the user select apple it should also display in the product name all the apple products and also here let's discuss first our reference column so this is the reference column of this column so here normally the easiest way to add a drop down is just keep it as innum then go to this pencil and then add values here okay so that's the easiest way but the problem of this is whenever since this drop down here the the problem of this is whenever we add the new products here we need also to go back to our app editor and add values here so i will show you i'll show you i will add here a new brand so i have only two brands right now in my database apple and samsung let's say i'm gonna add another brand which is evo then then the product name code let's say like that so when you go here and create a new sale i cannot see a vivo here so i have to go back to my app editor and put a vivo here okay then it will show there and which is inconvenient i mean it's not convenient then when i refresh my app i can see and another way as well to create a drop down is here so now you can see the vivo another way is to create a drop down there is another way uh you can just create a reference here a ref then you can select a source table which is the point which is also good here once you refresh but in this in this method you have to make sure that the reference table here as you can see it's showing here the product name if you want to use the method make sure that you go back to the reference table which is the bones make sure the label is the brand so this is also inconvenient what if in this table i want to label the product name so for me this is not the this is only like a like second okay see once you refresh...
