hi everyone welcome to another tutorial for the NBA website my name is travis prior and i'm the marketing coordinator here at envio a in this video we will discuss how to create an account on NBA's purchasing consortium called purchasing point this program allows you to access discounts on products and services from hundreds of national vendors including FedEx staples and sprint if you want to learn more stay tuned to start using this feature you will first have to create an account on NBA that purchasing point org to do so select the register button on the top right of your screen next scroll down to the text box provided and insert your facility zip code if you find your company listed after inserting your zip code simply select it and press continue now you will then be redirected to this page you can add yourself or other co-workers to the account you can also see who the prom contact for your account is once you have failed in all of the available text boxes click continue now to finish creating your account if your company was not listed after inserting your zip code you will have to create a company account to do so select the my facility is not listed option and follow the system prompts after filling in the appropriate bubbles for your school select continue now after giving your company information and your personal information in the facility and account portions you will then be directed to the contract section this will allow you to finalize your account and set yourself as the primary contact for your school if you are not the primary contact for your organization have the correct person sign and initially and then create your account once your contract is signed your account is active however in order to start purchasing you will have to get your GP oid this will be assigned within 48 hours of account creation to be the status of your GP 0 ID request visit to your profile portion of the website after signing in as you can see there is an alphanumeric code associated with the GPO ID you will not have this code until it has been approved however once assigned you will be able to sign up for discounts this concludes our tutorial for creating an account on purchasing point please be sure to watch the second purchasing point tutorial but we will discuss how to register for benefits I hope that you liked this video and found it helpful if you have any questions or if there's something you wish to have covered in a subsequent video please send us an email at membership at mboa org or give us a call at 20 to 40 7 7 140 thanks for watching
