A frequent search is to locate an article by a journalist under their byline. Occasionally you don't already know your journalist. One way to identify distinguished journalist is to look for those whose work has been recognized by an award such as the Pulitzer Prize. You can search for past winners and finalists on the Pulitzer website by category. It also helps to create a quick timeline of where the journalist worked and the years they worked there for your research.
