setting you're gonna set goals tonight you're gonna set your goals uh based on your business and personal goals now this is the uh the goals you're gonna compile um the uh a list of everything i want now i don't mean everything i don't want 400 things on this list i mean so uh next you're going to uh convert a want list into a goal list next you're going to uh convert your goal lists and affirmations and i'm going to teach you how to write app very good thank you yeah absolutely i'm going to teach you about affirmations in a minute okay uh you're going to turn them into affirmations next you're going to be begin each affirmation with the words i am i am it means in the present tense that means your little p brain it'll register in the present tense okay you're going to add an emotion word to each affirmation i'll give you an example in a minute you're going to write each affirmation in the present tense using the verb that ends in ing i'll show you examples in a second next you're going to say each affirmation out loud at least twice a day you heard matt say he does his affirmations i think he said two or three times three times a day we have people coincidentally they're the successful ones that do it five times a day five times a day okay athletes you know world champions gold medalists all do this i see myself crossing the tape and 9.1 whatever in the 100 meter winning the you know the gold medal or whatever okay but up until maybe 20 years ago it was only used no that's not true because i've been doing it 20 30 40 up until maybe 50 years ago it was only used by athletes for athletic athletics everybody knows about it when i went through this with uh bauer i mean everybody knows that he's a world-class skier i mean everybody knows that and then the other guys in the room are going everybody knows what that's a slight exaggeration but okay uh if one of your word uh in if one of your wants is to increase your net worth by 5 million every month then you turn it into a goal by writing it down on your goal list as i want to increase my net worth by 5 million a month or more a month [Music] every month the affirmation would be i am happy and easily increasing the amount of my net worth five million or more every month that's a little low but we'll start with this group five million a month okay the phrase i am sends a command to your subconscious so that it can work on this goal for you even when you're fast asleep the terms happily and easily tell your subconscious that you will not struggle to accomplish this this works well for me because it also helps me shorten my work day you may want to use another term that will help you experience the emotions of increased amounts of savings i use words i'm excited i have a erection i'm having multiple orgasms it's so easy okay uh some of the girls except for the one girl she she got off pun intended she got off from that about the when i was talking about the multiple orgasms okay uh the present tense word increasing creates a stress between you what you are saying and reality so that your subconscious acts with a sense of urgency to make this happen the or more is important also because when you realize how easy it is increase your savings amount by 5 million a month you may want to immediately raise the amount these two little words will have already sent the message to your subconscious and you will each uh excuse me you will reach the monthly amount quicker the best times to say you're at the affirmations are in the morning when you get up and in the evening just before you go to sleep by saying them at night you're commanding your subconscious to work on them while you sleep by saying them in the morning you um the you see you give your subconscious the opportunity to present a report what it did while you were asleep the increased focus you experience as a result of this simple activity will produce phenomenal results so that you truly uh get what you want in life this is our homework now there are all kinds of more complicated ways to write affirmations you can google this and you could write a phd white paper which i hope none of you do this is the simplest format that i've found that works the operative word part of that is works there's all kinds of sophisticated done on affirmations why you do it in the morning in the night your brains in the theta state now this thing all kind of but you don't need any of that all you need to know is this works it's not important that you know why it works all you need to know is it works and don't send me in your weekly report a link about the study done at stanford and i'm not interested in that all i know is this thing works i don't give a what they did at stanford mit or wherever the other there's a bunch of other studies done as well okay do we get this affirmations and then tomorrow morning we will go through them now i only say my affirmations at night now i don't see them in the morning i used to say them in the morning and at night but i see him at night uh before i um along with my prayers just before i go to sleep uh and and i have for not 40 years but pretty close to 40 years your outside environment does affect how you think and some of the kids do their affirmations they tape them and they listen to them all night all night and as matt said on the taping the webinar he listens to him when he trains and now he's training a whole bunch because he's getting ready to represent britain um and and it just it just works it just works and i want your goals as mine were for 2016 to be bold unrealistic bodacious over the top unconventional and that you cannot accomplish in your lifetime cannot and i i'm not a fan of president obama which i've told you but when he made the goal when he was a 19 20 year old college student to be president the first black president of the united states i mean that was pretty bodacious over the top and uh you know seven and a half years ago lo and behold we became first black president of the united states um and the uh over the top as i've told you you know uh i saw i fell about 1.5 billion short for my goal to be a two billion dollar company but i should have said at 20 billion now interestingly enough when i made that goal to be the 50th largest company and 2 billion uh the and being the top five highest paid energy executives in the world i made the top five three out of five years and i was the top paid energy executive two years and zapata was the 50th largest energy company which was george bush seniors energy company and when they threw me out of great western we were the 50th largest coincidence i don't know i should have said the fifth largest what i should have said youtubers
