vital that we understand exactly what the mark of the beast is because the Bible issues a deadly warning against all who receive it they will be eternally lost can we be sure what the mark of the beast is today yes the Bible has the answer so without further ado I give you 10 facts about the mark of the beast from the Bible fact number one the Beast is the papacy in order to understand what the mark of the beast is we need to understand who the leopard like beast of Revelation chapter 13 is and it's no other than the papacy that is the office of the Pope's in the Roman Catholic Church the Bible gives several indications of this first of all the Beast is described as a political and religious power for example a beast is a symbol for a kingdom in Bible prophecy according to Daniel chapter 7 verse 23 speaking of the Roman Empire it states the fourth beast shall be the fourth Kingdom upon earth and in Revelation chapter 13 verse 4 the Beast receives worship it says and they worship the Dragon which gave power unto the Beast and they worshipped the Beast saying who is like unto the Beast who is able to make war with him the papacy is the head of the Vatican which is both a religious and political institution the Vatican is actually a city-state and the Pope is the sovereign of the state also the Beast of Revelation receives his power from pagan Rome Revelation chapter 13 verse 2 says the dragon gave him his power and his seat and great Authority the dragon here is Satan working through pagan Rome we discovered this in Revelation chapter 12 verses 3 through 4 which states and there appeared another wonder in heaven and behold a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns and seven Crown's upon his heads and his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered for to devour her child as soon as it was born it was Satan who deceived a third of the angels in heaven to join him in his rebellion against God and as a result they were expelled from heaven in addition Satan worked through pagan Rome to try and destroy Jesus as soon as he was born this happened when Herod king of Judea killed all the babies in Bethlehem to try and destroy the Messiah he felt that Jesus was a threat to his authority since the Messiah was the king of the Jews Jesus papacy get its power seat and authority from pagan Rome the Roman Church without dispute had by 538 ad inherited the seat of the Caesars as a dove Harnack recorded in his book what is Christianity he wrote it the papacy is a political creation and as imposing as a world empire because of the continuation of the Roman Empire the Pope who calls himself King and Pontifex Maximus is Caesars successor the rise of the medieval church concluded that the mighty Catholic Church was little more than the Roman Empire baptized Rome was transformed as well as converted the very capital of the old Empire speak blasphemies who can forgive sins but God only does the papacy claim to be God and Saint has the ability to forgive people for their sins you better believe it as a matter of fact one of the titles the Pope is often addressed by his holy father that's a title that belongs to God when Jesus prayed to God the Father in John chapter 17 verse 11 he called him holy father jesus said and now I am no more in the world but these are in the world and I come to the Holy Father keep through thine own name those whom thou has given me that they may be one as we are one and on July 16 2013 the Express published an article entitled Pope Francis offers Catholics forgiveness for their sins on Twitter during World Youth Day the Vatican promised that Catholics who would follow the Pope service on World Youth Day on Twitter would receive an indulgence in other words they would have some sins forgiven to decrease their time in purgatory however if the Pope was such a loving Christian leader and really had it in his power to forgive people's sins so that they don't suffer in purgatory so long why doesn't he just forgive everyone sins and release them from purgatory right now out of love one more thing the leopard-like beast of Revelation 13 is identified by a number in that number is 666 it's the number of the beast Revelation chapter 13 verse 18 states here is wisdom let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast for it is the number of a man and his number is six hundred threescore and six it tells us that there is a way to count or calculate the number of the beast and it will add up to 666 incidentally one of the Latin titles for the Pope Vicari is VE Day which translates into Vicar of the Son of God adds up to 666 when you convert the letters to the because they served God with all their heart and according to the knowledge that they had about him but at the same time I have to let these facts be known because the Bible warns us that the papacy will play a major role in endtime events and everyone who unites with the Catholic Church in the end will be deceived and lost fact number two the mark of the beast on your hand or forehead is symbolic the forehead actually has to do with your mind it's at the forefront of your brain that's where your frontal lobe is and that is where your decision-making processes occur so those who receive the mark of the beast in their foreheads are those who consent to it because they have been convinced it's the right thing to do in other words they have been deceived the hand is a symbol of work the Bible says in Ecclesiastes chapter 9 verse 10 whatsoever thy hand findeth to do do it with thy might so those who receive the mark of the beast in their hand are those who go along with it for economic reasons so they can continue to work buy and sell fact number three the mark of the beast is over worship contrary to popular belief that the mark of the beast will have something to do with a computer chip or a tattoo or something like that the issue of the mark of the beast is actually over worship those who worship the beast receive his mark we can read this in Revelation chapter 14 verses 9 through 11 it says and the third angel followed them saying with a loud voice if any man worship the Beast and His image and receive his mark in his forehead or in his hand the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the Holy Angels and in the presence of the Lamb and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever and they have no rest day or night who worship the Beast and His image and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name not only is the mark of the beast over worship its worship in a way that violates the Ten Commandments that's because those who don't receive the mark of the beast are described as being obedient to God's commandments notice how the next verse in Revelation puts it here is the patience of the saints here are they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus so what is the mark of the beast I'll tell you right now fact number four the mark of the beast is enforced Sunday worship several Clues point to this for one the Catholic Church admits that it changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday and claims that the Sunday Sabbath is a mark of its authority the Catholic Church recognizes that the Bible Sabbath is Saturday as is quoted by Cardinal James Gibbons saying but you may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday the Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday a day which we never sanctify about the change the converts catechism of Catholic doctrine States which is the Sabbath day Saturday is the Sabbath day why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday we observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday the Catholic Church has even mocked Protestants for claiming to follow the Bible and yet keep sunday holy as the Sabbath because it is an invention of the Catholic Church Chancellor Albert Smith for Cardinal of Baltimore Archdiocese stated if Protestants would follow the Bible they should worship God on the Sabbath day by God is Saturday and keeping the Sunday they are following a law of the Catholic Church and the nail in the coffin comes from a quote by C of Thomas Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons in 1895 who said of course the Catholic Church claims that the change was her act and the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical power and authority in real just matters there you have it folks the Sunday Sabbath is a mark of the authority of the Catholic Church and when it becomes enforced by law it will become the mark of the beast now I want to make something clear here those who observe Sunday as the Sabbath now don't have the mark of the beast that's because it only becomes the mark of the beast when it's enforced by law on a global scale Revelation chapter 13 verse 16 uses the word causeth which means people are forced to receive the mark of the beast it states and he causeth all both small and great rich and poor free and bond to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads so if you have been keeping Sunday as the Sabbath until now and realize that Saturday is the true Bible Sabbath there is still hope for you you can still make the change to Saturday and start keeping the Bible Sabbath holy however don't procrastinate because in the future it may not be so easy as a matter of fact according to psalm 119 verse 60 once God reveals his will to us more clearly we should not delay to obey it the psalmist said I made haste and delayed not to keep thy Commandments if we procrastinate in obeying God the impact of his conviction becomes dull and we states in the United States already have Sunday laws on their books they're called blue laws they're not strictly enforced to make people worship on Sunday today but that can change real quick in the day off for TV industry in India March 2016 the Federation of western India sign employees has decided to make every second Sunday a mandatory holiday for the TV industry from April 1st churches in Switzerland are calling for the Sunday rest since 2013 the working community of Christian churches in Switzerland is part of the Alliance for the Sunday a platform of ecclesiastical organizations political parties and trade unions who are involved in maintaining the Sunday rest British MPs pushing to scrap Sunday laws but shop workers union members opposed rules on Sunday opening hours for shops in England and Wales are out of date and need to be relaxed a group of 200 MPs and council leaders has said they backed government plans to devolve Sunday trading laws to local councils however the shop workers union said the majority of its members opposed extended trading hours in other words the shop workers union blocked a move by British MPs to get shops to open on Sunday in England International Salvation Army calls for climate justice by keeping Sunday October 2015 the call to climate justice is deeply rooted in biblically based Christian convictions the Scriptures provide a wealth of reasons why Christ's followers simply cannot ignore this crisis the following points are drawn from the evangelical climate initiative a group of senior evangelical leaders in the United destructive forces of climate change because the Pope said keeping Sunday facilitates healing for the world if you live in America you may be saying to yourself but wait enforcing Sunday rest in America would be a violation of the freedom of religion which is guaranteed by the Constitution it's the First Amendment surely no American politician would support such a move well then take a look at this probably we should be debating a bill requiring every American to attend a church of their choice on Sunday that was senator Sylvia Allen in 2015 after being confronted about her statement she defended herself by saying the following last night in a very late appropriation meeting and we were all extremely tired I made a remark about America's in a need of a moral rebirth to try to bring back this moral rebirth to our country to turn our hearts back to good things that that is some sort of amazing thing for me to have said and that would be offensive to people moreover recently on a show called spirited debate on Fox News former congressman from Connecticut gary franks said that we need to get america back on track by keeping the sabbath among other things and he even praised blue laws which prohibit certain activities on the sabbath and how do you look at america how has it turned its back on God well let's go back to the 60s for this one purpose you had more to family households you have a divorce rate was rather low we have something known as the Connecticut blue where you didn't have a lot of activity on the Sabbath we really observe the Sabbath why not go to church more why not observed the Sabbath which is the fourth commandment why not treat others like you would like to be treated and that's and if we did those things it would make a big difference however in order for Sunday laws to be enforced in the United States an amendment to the Constitution would have to be made and some politicians have no problem with amending the Constitution for religious reasons take Baptist preacher and former governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee for example who ran for United States president in 2008 and 2016 I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution but I believe it's a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the Living God and that's what we need to do is to amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than try to change God's standards so it lines up with some contemporary view of how we treat each other and how we treat the family not to mention Sunday laws are nothing new there have been Sunday laws in the past the first Sunday law recorded in history was made by the Roman Emperor Constantine in AD 321 it stated on the venerable day of the Sun let the magistrates and the people residing in cities rest and let all workshops be closed in the country however persons engaged in agriculture may freely and lawfully continue their pursuits because it often happens that another day is not so suitable for grain sowing or for vine planting less by neglecting the proper moment for such operations the bounty of heaven should be lost this law came after Constantine's supposed conversion to Christianity Sunday by the way was actually a holy day in the religion of Mithra ISM which revolved around the worship of the Sun this was a very prominent pagan we have the lamb like beasts mentioned in verse 11 it states and I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth and he had two horns like a lamb and he spake as a dragon there are several clues which point to the identity of this beast as the United States of America for example its lamb like what is the lamb a symbol of in the Bible the lamb is a symbol of Jesus Christ John chapter 1 verse 29 when the Apostle John saw Jesus he said behold the lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world incidentally America was established on the two principles of civil and religious liberty that's what the two horns of the Lamb represent America started out as a Christian nation but things are changing whatever we want where we are no longer a Christian nation at least not just we are also a Jewish nation a Muslim nation in a Buddhist nation and a Hindu nation and a nation of non-believers and even if we did have only Christians in our midst if we expelled every non-christian from the United States of America who is Christian today would we teach in the school would it be James dances or Al Sharpton which passages of scripture should guide our public policy should we go with the Leviticus which suggests slavery is OK and that eating shellfish is an abomination or we could go with the Deuteronomy which suggests stoning your child if he strays from the faith or should we just stick to the Sermon on the Mount a passage that is so radical that is doubtful that our own Defense Department would survive its application and we can already see signs of cooperation between the papacy and the United States a few weeks after Pope Francis came to the United States to speak about climate change President Barack Obama endorsed the pontiff after all as Pope Francis reminds us so eloquently this planet is a gift from God and our common home we should leave it to our kids in better shape than we found it thanks and have a great weekend not only that some Protestant groups Francis is a Jesuit that's significant because the reason the Jesuits were invented was to counter the work of the Protestant Reformation and bring the world under the control of the Pope according to is also what it means to make an image to the Beast an image to the papacy according to Revelation chapter 13 verse 14 an image is a copy of something for example the Bible says that God made us in His image that means in some way we resemble God during the Dark Ages the Catholic Church worked in conjunction with European countries to enforce its rule on the masses there was a church and state union between the Vatican and Europe the United States will copy this make an image to this when it joins forces with a papacy to enforce Sunday worship you may be saying to yourself surely citizens of the United States would not be so nave to support such a union and under normal circumstances they wouldn't be but the Bible says the false miracles will be employed by the forces of darkness to seal the deal which brings me to fact number 8 Satan will perform false miracles to convince people that an image of the Beast needs to be made that is that the United States and the Vatican should unite to enforce Sunday worship the Bible says that a variety of false miracles and deceptions will be employed and speaking about apostate Protestant America Revelation chapter 13 verses 13 through 14 states and he do with great wonders so that he maketh Fire come down heaven on the earth in the sight of men and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice and the wood and the stones and the dust and licked up the water that was in the trench and when all the people saw it they fell on their faces and they said the Lord he is the god the Lord he is the God therefore fire coming down from heaven was a sign that God approved of Elijah the devil will counterfeit this at the end of time to make it seem like God approves of the union between apostate Protestant a maraca and the Vatican however there will be more deceptions Revelation chapter 16 verses 13 through 14 states and I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the Beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet for they are the spirits of Devil's working miracles which go forth that's because God is not the author of confusion and babbling in a supposedly egde that nobody understands and that has no recognizable language structure is confusing what's more sometimes when a charismatic or Pentecostal receives the gift of tongues they will lose control of themselves and fall to the ground or be slain in the spirit I've seen this happen with my own eyes however the Holy Spirit comes to help us gain control over our lives not cause us to lose control of ourselves so if you ask me modern-day speaking in tongues actually shows characteristics of demonic possession and evidently this deception is going to be used in a major way in order to deceive people into receiving the mark of the beast exactly how that's going to play out I'm not sure but I can only imagine that we will see an increase in this counterfeit manifestation of the gift of tongues and charismatic churches and other religions and people will claim to be able to interpret those messages probably by the aid of demons whispering in their ears and they'll say that God is telling them to enforce Sunday worship sorcery is another deception we'll be employed Revelation chapter 18 verse 23 States for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived now sorcery covers a variety of activity according to Google including witchcraft spells divination and even necromancy I highlighted necromancy because I think that is going to play a major role in deceiving people into receiving the mark of the beast necromancy is communication with the dead in other words talking to ghosts the Bible strongly condemns communicating with the dead and other occult practices in Deuteronomy chapter 18 verses 10 through 12 stating there shall not be found among you anyone that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire or that euzeth divination or an observer of times or an enchanter or a witch or a charmer or a consulted with familiar spirits or a wizard or a necromancer for all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord God hates these things that's what the Bible means when it says that they are an abomination to the Lord the reason God hates them is because they are demonic take ghost for example according to the Bible there is no such thing as ghosts that's because the Bible says that when someone dies they sleep in the grave until the second coming of Jesus Christ about the state of the Dead Ecclesiastes chapter 9 verses 5 through 6 reads for the living know that they shall die but the dead know not anything neither have they any more a reward for the memory of them is forgotten also their love and their hatred and their Envy is now perished neither have they any more apportion forever in anything that is done under the Sun the dead have no feelings like love hatred and envy because they are unconscious their brain is not working verse 10 reaffirms this stating whatsoever they hand findeth to do do it with thy might for there is no work nor device nor knowledge nor wisdom in the grave whither thou goest notice also what job chapter 14 verse 12 says about death so man lieth down and if not till the heavens be no more they shall not awake nor be raised out of their sleep death is called asleep here that's because dead people are unconscious kind of like when a person is asleep does a dead person know what's going on in his son's lives verse 21 has the answer it states his sons come to honor and he knoweth it not and they are brought low but he perceive with it not of them in other words when a dead man's sons are promoted in life or when the opposite happens or whether they have some good fortune or bad fortune the dead man doesn't know about it because he is dead unconscious asleep in the grave this is important to know because fallen angels will appear as ghosts and even prophets of old to deceive people into accepting the mark of the beast this is a very powerful deception because the devil knows that people have strong emotional attachments for their dead relatives and friends and he will take advantage of that already according to a Huffington Post survey forty five percent of Americans believe in ghosts and the Pew Research Center says that eighteen percent of Americans say they've seen or been in the presence of a ghost and twenty nine percent say they have felt in touch with someone who has already died incidentally renowned spirit medium George Anderson claims to have received thousands of messages from the spirit world listen to what he had to say about some of his encounters the souls have told me that there is no single right religion nor did they ever tell me that religion is a must for people but they do tell us that we need our faith our faith in something bigger than us our faith in love and understanding in our faith that we have been placed here to make the world a better place through our kindness and love even the Souls conceded that religion is mostly man-made from the components that we have all been given from the souls and the infinite light the souls have told him that there is no one right but what does the Bible say it says that the only way to God is through Jesus Christ so there is a right religion it's Christianity and what kind of faith does the Bible tell us to practice is it merely a faith and something bigger and a faith in love and understanding no it's faith in Jesus Christ this is just more evidence for me that souls or spirits of the dead are nothing more than demons in disguise trying to deceive us so that we will end up lost George Anderson also made this statement all the souls who pass from this existence go to the peace and joy of the hereafter in other words there is no Hell for anyone everyone who dies will go to a place of peace and joy that as well is unbiblical salvation is granted to those who accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior those who reject Jesus well they go to the other place Jesus himself said in Matthew chapter 7 verses 13 through 14 enter he in at the strait gate for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction and many there be which go in thereat because Strait is the gate and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life and few there be that find it in other words more people will be lost than saved since so many people believe in ghosts and messages from supposin spirits of the Dead are misleading in terms of the Bible we can be sure that they will also lead people to receive the mark of the beast when the time comes not only that I'm willing to bet that demons will impersonate Bible characters and prophets in order to deceive people into receiving the mark of the beast this wouldn't be the first time that the devil would have done such a thing remember the Old Testament story of the Witch of Endor who conjured up the spirit of the prophet Samuel for King Saul do you really think that was the prophet Samuel she conjured up no first of all witches have no power to raise people from the dead or command spirits of God's servants if God's servants did exist SB which they don't also when the prophet Samuel appeared he gave King Saul a depressing message which caused him to die on the battlefield the next day and that's not how God works he gives us messages of Hope and calls us to repent from our sins while there's still time it's the devil who comes to steal kill and destroy by the way the apparitions of the Virgin Mary what do you think those are if the dead sleep in the grave they are the activity of demons in addition Satan will impersonate Christ on earth as his crowning act of deception Matthew chapter 24 verse 24 states for there shall arise false Christ's and false prophets and shall shew great signs and wonders and so much that if it were possible they shall deceive the very elect we have had our fair share of false Christ's and prophets in the past a few of which include Charles taze Russell of the Jehovah's Witnesses Joseph Smith of the Mormons and Jose Luis DeJesus Miranda who called himself the god man and they have deceived quite a bit of people but that's nothing in comparison to what's coming Satan himself will impersonate Jesus Christ and perform miracles to convince people that we need to make a Sunday law to turn God's wrath away from a world in chaos we can expect massive satanic deceptions and false miracles in the near future and for those who do not know their Bibles and stay close to Jesus they will be misled they will accept the mark of the beast back number 9 we are heading towards a cashless society the Bible indicates that those who refuse the mark of the beast will not be able to buy yourself Revelation chapter 13 verse 17 states and that no man might buy or sell save he that had the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name so not only are all kinds of false miracles and deceptions going to be performed in order to get people to accept the mark of the beast sanctions will be imposed as well if you don't accept it you won't be able to buy or rest assured though God will provide for his followers as he did with Elijah and the Ravens in first Kings 17 and Isaiah chapter 33 verse 16 says that our bread and water will be sure so God is not going to leave us to starve but I digress because if we won't be able to by yourself that means that there will have to be a way to control our finances and that is only possible if we go to a cashless society and we're almost there folks an article from coexist comm states cash is on its way out accounting for just 40% of payments in 2012 and dropping another article from Street directory calm states that London is actively encouraging people not to carry cash around with them with recent initiatives they've introduced they've issued Oyster cards which people can use to pay for London's bus and tube networks the Evening Standard made it possible for customers to pay for their newspaper via a cashless payment card if this spreads to the rest of the UK and if other countries adopt similar initiatives that it's surely only a matter of time before the whole of the Western world uses technology in the form of prepaid payment cards to make cash obsolete I personally use my bank card to make most of my purchases Sweden seems to be leading the race and becoming a cashless society an article from The Guardian states Swedish buses have not taken cash for years it is impossible to buy a ticket on the Stockholm Metro with cash retailers are legally entitled to refuse coins and notes and street vendors and even churches increasingly preferred card or phone payments according to Sweden's central bank the Riksbank cash transactions made up barely 2% of the value of all payments made in Sweden last year a figure some see dropping to half a percent by 2020 in shops cash is now used for barely 20% of transactions half the number five years ago and way below the global average seventy-five percent and astonishingly about 900 of Sweden's 1600 bank branches no longer keep cash on hand or take cash deposits and many especially in rural areas no longer have ATMs circulation of Swedish Krona has fallen from around one hundred and six billion in 2009 to 80 billion last year I think in practice Sweden will pretty much be a cashless society within about five years said Nicholas Arvidsson and associate professor specializing in payment systems innovation at Stockholm Royal Institute of Technology on visual capitalist calm in an article entitled the shift to a cashless society is snowballing it states governments have been increasingly pushing for a cashless society ostensibly by having a paper trail for all transactions such a move would decrease crime money laundering and tax evasion Frances finance minister recently stated that he would fight against the use of cash and anonymity in the French economy in order to prevent terrorism and other threats meanwhile former Secretary of the Treasury and economist Larry Summers has called for scrapping the u.s. $100 bill the most widely used currency note in the world I think it's only a matter of time before cashless payments go global and when they do conditions will be perfect for implementing the mark of the beast and being able to control who buys and sells fact number 10 those who receive the mark of the beast will suffer the seven last plagues we often hear how hard it's going to be for those who refuse the mark of the beast they're not going to be able to buy and sell a death decree will be issued against them they will be persecuted imprisoned put to death they truly will face a time of trouble such as the world has never seen but it's not going to be a picnic for those who receive the mark of the beast either as a matter of fact those who receive the mark of the beast will have it worse that's because not only will their fate be destruction in the lake of fire they will also suffer the seven last plagues the seven last plagues are not for God's people they are for those who accept the mark of the beast for example in Revelation chapter 16 verse 2 when it talks about the first angel who pours out the first plague on the earth it states and the first wind and poured out his vial upon the earth and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon men which had the mark of the beast and upon them which worshipped His image when the mark of the beast isn't forced upon us the decision we will have to make is whether to accept it and be able to buy or sell even though that will lead to the seven last plagues and destruction in Hellfire or reject it if we reject the mark of the beast we won't be able to buy or sell we will be persecuted even to death and will even have to flee our homes to find places of refuge in remote places where God will provide for us but we won't suffer the seven last plagues and we will gain eternal life for following Jesus thanks for watching subscribe if you're new
