What do you like best?

I love how we are able to reduce the time spent on onboarding paperwork in office by pre-sending the forms to be filled out at home. Also, it removes the need to scan and upload. It has greatly changed the way we hire (which is what we are constantly doing). We started using it middle of last year and the number of paper files we had at the end of the year compared to the year before was STAGGERING.

Create signed arrangement

all right so I'm so happy that you signed up on the zones by Gary comma that you've already previously signed up because I'm just going to automatically email this one out to you and what I want to show you today is it's my sister's well I better not say which birthday it is but it is my sister's birthday we'll just say it's monumental all right so I'm going to make this arrangement for her and I really want to be special but I thought I wanted you to be able to watch me do it because it's not often that I do something like this because it's uh it's a lot of flowers so just be prepared for there's a lot of flowers that goes in this so we're just going to start the process and let you watch and and every now and then I'll tell you something but I'm going to speed up the camera a little bit every now and then so you don't have to sit here for an hour that's probably gonna take me to do this but I want you to see how I do certain things and as I told you earlier we're going to start off with the base flowers which is this basic color here and I'd like to use hydrangeas because number one it's just a favorite flower of people but also it's great because I can put it in really deep and it gives me a lot of color and a lot of impact but without being a typical flower so this is going to be the flower that I almost always start off with usually whenever you have something that is like a really big stem that you've got to cut it's just really best to try and just push it into the stuff um create the hole then go back and get some of your glue stick it on that stem and drop it in really deep there so something like that right there then it doesn't take a whole lot of glue but you definitely want to get some on there now to keep it from you coming out you want to wear that coming out anymore after that and what I'm going to do is I've started over here and I brought it over here and that's what I'm going to do is I'm going to continue with this and I'm gonna let it drip off this front side over here just a little bit some of these stems are really tough to cut what I'm going to do with this one is I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to take a knife and just cut some of this rubber covering off and that's going to take me down to the bare wire and then I can actually take this wire and put a pic on it and this way then I can make it through a little bit better be a little bit more secure inside there I'm still going to put just a tad bit of glue on there just a little bit so there you see just going to have a kind of falling off cascading off of this arrangement the next thing I wanted a you want to keep things like this even if you don't use it in this arrangement you can use it in other arrangements later on or use it on your wreaths or even use it on gift packages as I've done videos for you to show you how to do that so save this because there might be basically a hole in somewhere and if you can just pop this off and drop it in there and really make it different so we always save on foliage particularly it's really good phone it's like the hydrangea foliage the next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to bring in the snapdragons these are absolutely beautiful snapdragons and I want to cluster them just like they're going from one plant right in the very center or a little bit off center so that's one of the things that you always want to get flowers that look real and when you get the flowers that aren't looking real that's when you start lowering the quality of your arrangement and that's this right here is an absolutely beautiful beautiful flowers you can see so let's go ahead and start cutting these down now what you want to do obviously is that this is the point that you want to decide exactly what's the height that I wanted this because that's the height is going to basically determine everything else kind of so I'm going to make this right here my tallest flower I don't want to take it up too high sometimes I can really do something really crazy I'm not really crazy but really enjoyable I like to do stuff like that but I'm not really sure where she's going to put it so I've got to do it a little bit safer and fix it to where whatever wherever she puts it it's going to fit there and then she can move it around where she wants to do but we could always go back and add something we wanted to but I'm going to keep it like at that level that I think that is something that it still has a good look to it but it's not dangerous for making it hard for her to put it in certain spots you want to whenever you're giving a gift away you know leave the very stylized stuff to them to buy unless you just absolutely know they're going to love it because then whenever you buy something really stylized or very dramatic if you will what you're doing is you're limiting people to where they can place it for display so that's what I mean by be careful how you commit them to the arrangement you're giving them you see I'm kind of keeping my glue fairly thick and I do that just by keeping the temperature up on that skillet just right and you never know one minute I'll be burning up and the next minute they'll be really thick but I think I've got a good consistency right now so now you're seeing from the front of the arrangement there's always two sides to an arrangement that I do but there's there's just something about art and the way that I tend to always have a major side and then the other side so that is going to be different what I call the front of this arrangement and it's looking pretty good perhaps I saw myself the next thing we're going to do is we're going to bring in the stargazers this is actually one of her favorite flowers it was at her bridal bouquet so she really loves these and so luckily I found somebody pretty ones the ones that look pretty good pretty pretty close to real so now we're going to cut these down also this is another flower that's really nice if you can make an arrangement and let them look like they're really growing and make them really tall in this one we're going to have to sink everything pretty tight in this arrangement so let's just go ahead and we'll cut these up and this time what we're going to do is we're going to let the lily fall off of this side so it's basically same design just different flowers now you can see how I have the Lily falling off of that side of the arrangement so now we have that weight distributed evenly some people love it everything distributed evenly and other people hate it but you have to know also the personality the person that you're designing for if it's not you I tend to like to get a little wild and crazy and unique but a lot of people particularly people my family that's not their style so I have to learn to adapt my design style to their likes other words otherwise I can't expect them to keep my flowers displayed on their hey well can I so this keep all that in mind if you just started you're going to be really nice and make a gift for somebody which is a really nice thing to do ok once again we'll save all of this voltage here pretty nice load there so there's something we could do with it later now we have glue I'm starting with the next color tablet and we're going to want to make sure we get these ends before we get too too full here in the base because once again I don't want anything really high on this I'm going to use these flowers as a low flower just like I did the other hydrangeas once again I'm gonna find where I want to put the flower go ahead push the stem into the styrofoam which will create a hole for it and then I'll glue it and put it right back in that same hole again like that I think any new fliers when y'all think and just so you know these are really small flyers and that's why it's hard to cut these big stems some pretty strong guy so I mean I still need bigger requires a larger Flyers you have that either it will make for you to cut the wire so don't get a little pair of pliers like that go get you a good pair of pliers it's going to help make it easy to cut the flower stems I apologize for my voice today I've got a I got a cold feel fine but I'm just stuffed up so I just have a manly voice yesterday alright so that is on both sides and let's see now what we want to do let's put in a few roses we have three these beautiful yellow roses so what I did here was is i clustered those two roses there and i just put one of those yellow roses over here basically close to the same spot now I will go ahead and put in the the peach roses while I'm in Rose mode now I like the way that these roses just kind of seem like they kind of fall so I'm going to stick with that and let a few of them actually think I'll use them pick on those and I'm going to let these fall off the ends first okay kind of notice how that just kind of defined this whole entire arrangement now with a draping effect to it if you can sit on that sign I can definitely see it from the front side now I got the third one and we have to do something with the third one so what do you think we should do shall we cluster it again you know I like to cluster I don't know let's see here I think what I want to do put it right there so like it's still coming off of that same vine I think that's pretty cool continuous theme there now this is this is so nice I'm going to know what this is supposed to be but it is a plastic which makes it look very realistic and easy to work with now you'll notice here there's three different stems creating one if you are making a really huge big arrangement you would keep probably keep all this together but since you're making a small arrangement what you do is you just go in and you cut these pieces out and that gives you then three different pieces that's more fit for this size of arrangement I think I just glue these in we want to kind of come up on the inside of the middle and let this kind of drape out you can kind of be in your wildest a little bit so that's nice and it kind of helps to find the lines of the arrangement as well now about several of these I don't know that I'm going to need them all but they're to have to me than not enough right this is a little short so I'm gonna put a pic on there and then we'll let this one fall taste cascade off the side of the container as well so you get an idea there of what it looks like now how pretty that is okay so I'm going to pick this one because it's once again the way it is on the stem it's cut a little short sometimes you want to take your fingers and get down inside the arrangement which is what I'm doing right now and peel away those leaves and things that may be sitting right on top of where you want to push this this one's kind of good stem so I can just glue it all right now there are glue strings running everywhere and if you watch all my videos you'll see how to get rid of those but there is a little trick to it and I'll teach you how to do that so make sure you watch my videos so we have one more stem which means three more of these that we're going to be able to put in this arrangement somewhere I think I'm also going to go back to my original thought of extending this a little bit so we will put it on the ends and let it kind of lay over turn around and do the other one we've already got this kind of coming up here but I really want to make that link a little bit more dramatic looking yeah that'd be why is it a little bit more and it will come up into the center somewhere possibly I'm probably going to need to come right there and I'll make a messed up there that should probably had a pic looks like I got it inside there so it doesn't matter see how that looks that looks pretty pretty what even once again don't toss away these stems I mean the stems there you can use them for different things too but the leaves are will prove to be invaluable to you at some point in your future as you continue making arrangements I'm going to say this to the last just simply because the type of flower that it is so I'm going to come back in now with my purples and just give it a little bit of a more a different punch of color once again I'm not going to use these just long so we're going to cut these down you notice what I do is I'm going to take my pliers I'm going to come right down on top of that leaf right above that bloom there because I don't want that stem to be that long so that gives me another piece to cut thin and I can insert this somewhere so that's how you end up getting so many flowers in your arrangements then we'll right down to the leaf above that so when you cut it off it just looks like it's naturally growing so the whole thing about everything we do and natural botanicals is we want it to look natural the whole trick of all this is is for people to look at your flower agent and first say oh how beautiful and second say is that real if anybody ever says is that real I've done my job I feel very happy to hear that I'm going to take one more opportunity here to work on the length of this and I'm going to have this drop in off the edge too which means I got to take the same flower and go to the other side now in theory I don't have to but I'm going to and drop off of that one so now you can see how that really just defined that whole arrangement because it's a heavy dark color we wanted to keep it down the bottom but that just basically is holding the way this entire arrangement up now if you can visualize that now we have all of these which are extra stuff and so we're going to scatter these throughout the arrangement I'd love to have things kind of sometimes just growing right out of my hydrangeas it's very natural that way see that and then we have these two little extra pieces here and we're just basically using four color okay so right now there's a leaf laying across the styrofoam there you go I finally got it in that's why you have to really watch those leaves when they get a 2 plus 2 star foam because it will make it hard for you to especially as you get a whole lot of flowers put in here and make it hard for you to be able to push through and get it into that styrofoam and if you don't accomplish that then sometime in the next year it's gonna start falling apart all right so we have that in there you can see how you have just those little touches of purple which will it gives this whole entire regular part but what you see what this does to it is a really tough one of them a violet here I think and we're going to do the same thing again we're going to cut it up into several little pieces because I don't really need a whole bunch of that heavy violet color one spot I don't think so once again I'm going to come right here and go right in front at the bottom of this and I'm going to let this flower fall off of the front of the arrangement the same thing over here that's nice collector when it works I always like to manipulate the stems too to make it look like they're rolling naturally you know these wires are really soft so let's hope I don't what our pics here I'm getting low but I think I'm going to have to use a few see how that's bent just then just because it's such a soft stem all right same thing again okay so that's one of two stems with the violet flowers let's do the next stem we're almost done with this arrangement folks not too bad huh I tell you really what takes the time it's the shopping part you really want to walk and look and make sure you get in the right flowers and the right colors the right textures and of course the right price one of these days I'm going to take you inside one of the places I buy these flowers and just let you go on a shopping trip with me if you'd like me to do that then I tell you what go ahead and drop down and leave a comment under this video about how much you would love to watch me go and buy flowers for an arrangement and if I get enough people that says they want to do it I'll do it I can fix that out for you but you have to go and sign up below drop me a comment and let me know that you would love to see it how's that and we have one more violet flower now and we have no more pics so I guess this will get glued huh okay so that finishes that up I really like that violet color you don't see a lot of the violence you see a ton of purples but you don't see a lot of this color they did a really good job with this color and so now the last thing we have in here is a soft little filler flower kind of looks like a wax flower but it's not but it's a really pretty flower once again we're going to the same thing what we're doing is we're going back in and we're going to lighten all this up just by adding these tiny flowers and we're just going to cut them down so that we can insert them individually once again I'll say it again do not throw these leaves away those are pretty leaves they look like dusty miller leaves so who knows it maybe but does it look those little legs will be great on a package since they're so unique looking but we're just going to start going around and inserting some of these little white filler flowers in and I think you're going to be really quite shocked at what a difference this is going to make this arrangement see how that starts changing it I've got a couple more here to put it in like a limousine too thick so it's really getting stringy now you can work on that let me see if I can get one up here in the top area somewhere just a little one there's so much stuff in here it's hard to get it in okay that's that one another one up there at the top now we're going to work on the other side here okay now I'm going to go back up to the top again now that Gleaves hitting up see the smoke out looking to see the smoke or not it's firing up well and ah the glue is melting the plastic I see what's happening all right Holly got it in there all right and ladies and gentlemen there you have it one finished birthday present so this is Jerry with designs by Jerry calm I hope you enjoyed this I hope I didn't bore you to death if you'd like to see more
