hey what's up everybody mark price at Dez globe.com in case you forgot how could you forget a face like this anyway what we're going to do in this video is we're going to get your project set up and all the provisioning profiles and everything you need in order to test your apps and also distribute them to the App Store so let's go ahead and get started I'm going to open up Xcode 8 currently it's the beta version you may be using the final version doesn't matter and let's go ahead and create a new Xcode project single View application and what we're going to do in our app is we're going to build an app for our upcoming business we've got a business where we have energy drinks you know there's Starbucks on every corner I've always been like why can't there be a frickin energy drink store where you can pick all kinds of energy drinks and they mix them up you know and you know why does always have to be coffee so we're creating an energy drink store and this is our app that goes along with it so we're going to call this ultra energy ok that's the name of our app and the bundle identifier is comdev slopes the ultra energy and if you want to be really clean here we'll just make this all lowercase which i think looks better and then language is swift device is universal that's all fine and notice how you have a team now okay now if yours isn't showing anything here there's nothing at all then what you need to do is go to Xcode preferences and you need to go to accounts and then what you need to do is you need to click the plus sign and add an Apple ID and then the Apple ID and the password that you signed up for as an apple developer you need to put in here ok but does it put that in now it'll sync here and now your account will be synced ok and then your app or your team should be available here if it's not then just click cancel and then reload the project and then it will be available okay so I'm selecting my team so it's now connected to my developer.apple.com account this is a new Xcode 8 feature this was not use versions of Xcode add this being it being able to select your team right from the get-go and we're going to click Next and I'm going to save this just here on the desktop okay so a few important things to notice our bundle identifier comdev slopes the ultra energy remember this needs to be our app ID which we have not created yet here's our team you can select it here and again we have the project selected here and the general tab selected okay so signing certificate this is this may have nothing...
