Heap insist e signature
hi everyone so today i'm going to show you how to send a secure e-signature request through the portal so it's very similar to sending just your basic email to the client or requesting documents back except this time you're attaching a document and you're asking the client to sign that document and send it back to you so all you have to do is log into the portal and go to the send secure emails and files page and click compose email so from there you just fill in the email form like you normally would so you put in here you want to send it to if you would like to cc or bcc anyone the subject and then under email type you have secure send secure document request and now you have the option for a secure esignature request so you're going to click that and i'm going to put some information in the body and up top you still have to pass or protect it so i'm going to put in a password retype the password and put in the hint and then down below you can see that you have how many documents you have left that can be signed by clients so right now i have 46 so then i can add files that i've already uploaded so files that are already stored in the portal or i can either click within this box or drop files here to upload so i'm just going to click within the box it opens up my file explorer where i'm going to choose a file so once i choose that file it gets added here and now that i've added that file i just hit send so as soon as i hit sent i now get a preview box where i can see the file that i've uploaded so this is the file that i would like the client to sign so from here i can add all of the inputs so i want a signature so i'm going to click signature it gets added up here and you're just going to put the signature field wherever you would like the client to sign it so i'm just going to put it there you can also ask for the recipient email text phone number check box i'm going to ask for the date signed so again it puts it up there it's going to move this over here and the time signed so you just click the input fields of where you would like the information shown on the pdf that you uploaded so once everything looks good you just hit save and send it's going to let you know that you're about to send this email to the client and you just hit ok once you do that it just says it's saving and finishing and then it gets sent and from there you can actually see the email you've sent in this list so you...
