Mike Ballard from chimney triggers I'm here today to show you how we install one of our AR triggers in an AR platform rifle first thing you want to do is open the chamber make sure the chamber is empty don't remove any magazines or ammunition from the work area and then you can begin you're going to push out the rear pin you're going to push out the front pin you're going to separate the upper and lower receiver go ahead and set your upper receiver aside I usually will be sure to push my pins back in to prevent any damaging from occurring to your receiver you're gonna put it on fire drop your Hammer carefully you don't want to strike your receiver and do any damage you don't want to push out these two pins [Music] I'm going to remove the hammer pin first remove your hammer set it aside then you're going to remove your trigger okay next to install the chimney trigger you're going to need to remove your safety lever and that requires moving removing your grip so go ahead and get a tool and uh screw hole there sometimes it's a hex head cap screw and sometimes it's a slotted screw on those all right so there's a spring that's in the grip here so the spring and then there's a small detent in here that can drop out sometimes they're steel sometimes they're brass either way don't lose it go ahead and remove your safety from the assembly set it aside okay next you to trigger unit you drop it down into the receiver and then you're going to reinstall your safety at this time okay go ahead and drop in your detent make sure the spring is in your grip you're going to want to Center this on the hole make sure everything is lined up and push the unit together next you're going to take your screw and lock washer screw it back into your receiver now you're going to install your trigger pins and make sure they're centered in the assembly now you're going to carefully lower the hammer and you need to get into these two screws where you're going to tighten up and snug the trigger body into the lower receiver okay now you're going to want to get in with a pick or a screwdriver pull your hammer spring back and then tighten your hex screw right there snug it up you're going to want to do the same thing with the other side pull that spring back and then snug up that screw now you're going to install your two locking screws on some of your triggers there's a Nylock where you won't need to have the Locking set screws you'll just be putting the tightening the screw if your housing does not have this Nylock it will have the set screws that you need to put in as locking set screws now you're going...
