hey guys Irene here and today I'm gonna talk about something that not a lot of photographers talk about but I think it is very very important have you ever heard of the phrase the customer is always right well sometimes the customer is not right because there is always an exception to the rule you see photography is like art it is very subjective I mean some people still like color selection so it is very very important to make sure that you and your client are in the same page and you will be able to deliver exactly what your client is looking for to avoid any problems in the future it is crucial for you to have a good consultation with your client I always ask them exactly what's the feel or the ideas that they want to implement in the photoshoot I always ask them to send me inspirational pictures I ask them a bunch of questions about editing and just their personal preferences or maybe something that they don't like or the side that they don't like to be photographed I just make sure to ask a lot of questions again just to make sure that me and the client are on the same page sometimes during the consultation you just might realize that the client is just not right for you and it's totally okay to politely decline the client now how to recognize those situations a if the client wants you to shoot something that you normally don't do meaning this style or the theme let's say they want you to do a baby photo shoot which you have never done or don't do it would be best if you just don't take on that client because in the end you might not be able to do exactly what they were looking for oh for example if someone asked me to do a male modeling book I wouldn't be able to do it because I just don't shoot with male models and I don't think I would be able to deliver exactly what they want so I would just likely say no and direct them to a different photographer be if someone's being rude and disrespectful to you I mean obviously if someone it's just not a great person to work with stay away from those people and don't engage in any professional business with them because it's not gonna end up being professional see is if someone wants to bargain a little bit too much I understand that different people might have different budgets and it's completely okay I have a lot of different packages for different budgets that people might have ranging from even hundred dollars up to you know a few thousand dollars so there is always a budget for everyone but there have been people that wanted to get a little bit too much for the price that they were willing to pay and no matter how many times...
